Organizing for Palin
O4PNC ^ | 10/01/2011 | theoldmarine

Posted on 10/01/2011 10:37:08 AM PDT by theoldmarine

As you all may have heard, Florida has decided to move it's primary date to January 31st. By doing this they have risked of losing half their delgates. Also this has caused the early states of Iowa, SC, NH and NV to now talk about moving their primary dates (possibly losing delegates) to early January or quite possibly the end of December. This will in turn make for a shorter and more intense campaign season. Today is the deadline for moving primary dates. State filing deadlines are fast approaching and we need to be ready to hit the ground running once Governor Palin announces. We are currently compiling the filing requirements in the way of fees and signatures for each and every state. Here in NC, our filing deadline is February 7, 2012 and requires no fee or signatures. Governor Palin said in an interview Thursday night w/Judge Napolitano on Fox Business that she is holding her politcal cards close to her chest. She also used the word we when referring to the candidates and the debates and even brought up the Palin Doctrine. She continued to appear like a presidential canidate. Governor Palin has not offically announced yet but it appears a move will be made very shortly.

Not at all.

I really hope Palin gets in, and always have, I just don’t think she will, and refuse to constantly discuss the race as if she is in it until and if she does get in it.

What’s wrong with having more choices?

I also hope Christie gets in too, because I think everyone wins when we have more to choose from.

And who knows, maybe someone new that got in might actually attack Romney instead of Perry, which you rightly pointed out is my current candidate of choice.

“So what’s your purpose on this thread other than to throw verbal bombs? How petty is that.”

Just answering for those three plus a few others who instantly jump on these threads to try to crush any who do not hate the Palins.

The anti-Palin verbal bombthrowers are generally those moderate republicans, at least Clinton’s age and older, who brought this country to an 11 trillion dollar debt and turned the keys of the Federal Government over to Pelosi, Reid, and the Obamas in 2008. They do not want anybody else to try to fix what they broke because they are control freaks and want the chance to cover up their mistakes.

Speaking of dismal performance, that is exactly how I would describe you Perryots performances. You post the same thing, culled from the Lamestream media, or DU, trolling every SP thread, Why cannot you just be happy with your own candidate? Oh gee, I remember now he puked on his cowboy boots, and blew the Florida Straw poll in about three days.

because her dismal performance

Yeah, all that talk about the Constitution and the Founders and crony capitalism is really going to sink her.

I am not in a cult -- I am just listening for the message and looking for the record of a true conservative. No other candidate has the message or credentials that she has. If there is someone out there, please let me know.

And no matter what happens, we must unite to oust Obama. That is job one.

I’m finally calling bu11$**T on this nonsense. It’s after September 30; she’s not running. Do I sound a little angry? Yeah, it’s because I don’t appreciate people getting my hopes up with claims that they know she’s running when they don’t know a goddamned thing about anything. You’re a self-deluded nobody who wants to feel like you have some special knowledge.

what’s with the penalties of losing delegates for moving your primary?

I think "penalties" is the wrong term. I believe the intention was to coax states to make intelligent-for-the-party decisions by setting a date, after which you get full slate of delegates and prior you get half a slate, to balance it out. You want to go early? You have to balance that out with going later delegate-wise. Its still a state decision - early impact/less delegates or less impact/full delegates.

You are about as far from Reagan as Mao, and for those of us that loved RR, you demean him every time you post.

Sorry you got up on the wrong side of the bed today. I am not deluded, and I am not a nobody. We are all somebody in God’s eyes.

I am not trying to appear as anything. Just posted the contents of an email from organizing for palin north carolina. Make of it what you will. If you read it carefully they certainly believe she is running. I hope she is because Rush is Right... other than Herman Cain, who’s going to represent US.

Take a few deep breaths and read 1 Corinthians 13

Yeah, you’re probably right. Sorry, TOM. You mean well and you’re one of the good guys, from what I could possibly suppose to know of you. Just please, know more jerking us around.

Sam, I actually did mean it; I got angry. It’s very easy to let a temper fly on the internet.

Jim, you said everything that I wanted to say. I think truly genuine, honest people scare a lot of the citizens of this great country, especially in this day and age.

“dismal performance” refers to how she’d would do if she were actually running, not how she’s doing as a gadfly, free to run around the country and make speeches without having to convince anyone that she’s correct. The proof is in the pudding, not the recipe.

The field keeps changing. Now Christie is a factor and Cain is up in the polls, Perry is down and and Bachmann is way down. If she is looking for an opening, it is hard to see where it is right now.

Sarah Palins 'opening' is as a solid conservative with 98% name recognition, a dedicated base of support, proven governing experience and immense charisma. I like Herman Cain but he simply cannot match Sarah Palin in political experience as a mayor, governor and Republican national (VP) candidate, fund raising ability and core voter support. Sarah Palin's entrance into the GOP primary race can be a distinct game-changer, pushing out second-tier candidates e.g. Santorum, Johnson - and likely removing Bachmann from the race. I doubt Christie will run but I doubt it even more if Sarah Palin becomes a candidate. If Palin does gets in, it will be soon - because time is running out.

“Fact is, many of us, Perry supporters and non-Perry supporters alike, hope she gets in because her dismal performance will finally put the kibosh on the Cult of Saint Sarah.”

Care to put a little cold cash on that statement?
