Could we make a similar argument against a homosexual president? You may "be" homosexual, but you don't have to actual act on your feelings. In other words: living a homosexual lifestyle is evidence of lack of self-control and would invalidate such a person from being president.
Or ... would the Leftists want to shoot me for such a repugnant thought?
Perhaps it depends on whose ox is getting gored.

Yep, fat folks are the last group that one can openly hate and have it be socially acceptable. Of course, it is all done in the name of caring about the person’s health, doncha know.
Except Kinsley is openly saying that fat people have a moral failing. ONe of the many reasons I would love to see the magic pill invented that would make people slender, is so that naturally slender people would have to look elsewhere for their sense of moral superiority.

We need to get behind Mr. Kinsley’s movement then and identify others that lack this self control then. I think of Elena Kagan and Janet Napolitano. We can throw in Barbara Mikulski for good measure.

What about assinine-ism? The libs are the most hateful people I know. Their way or the highway. Violence. Threats... God forgive them. Go Gov Christie.
