big government liberal?.....hmmm..........let me add a few:

1. lawyer
2. documentable gun grabber who’s support for the 2nd is squishy at best
3. RINO
4. grossly over-weight which means we could be left with his vice president....who the hell would that be?
5. The man, at his core, is at least 50% liberal. Sarah, at her core, may be 1%.
6. Has not been vetted like Sarah. Who knows what skeletons are in his closet?

I say bring the the Rino (literally in his case) on. Sarah would clean his clock!

I agree that Christie is a liberal, but when the Repub establishment teams up with the liberal media, we get what Palin called “being caricatured.”

That would happen to her again.

CHRISTIE DEFENDS MUSLIM JUDGE APPOINTMENT:

“But it was a follow-up question on the fear of Sharia Law that set the governor off. “Sharia Law has nothing to do with this at all, it’s crazy!” he cried. “The guy is an American citizen!” He concluded that the “Sharia Law business is just crap… and I’m tried of dealing with the crazies,” adding with disgust and frustration that “it’s just unnecessary to be accusing this guy of things just because of his religious background.”

The lawsuits ended when she stepped down. Get your facts straight if you want to be a successful troll.

Scurry along now. I’m done with you.

It's late in this thread but the desperation in the article is just oozing out. I can't resist!

Here is the "validation" of his article...

That is the moment when the Republican political establishment will send out the call for the one remaining political star on the GOP side who can take the spotlight away from Palin. That candidate is Gov. Christie.

A Christie-Palin match-up would be a contest not just for the nomination but for the heart and soul of the Republican Party. Under those circumstances, Christie will decide he has no choice but to get into the game.

Well, the Republican political establishment has litteraly been making calls.

Most recently he has said NO.

Not maybe, just no. I believe that was directly to the messenger of the Bush clan. It does not get more Republican political establishment than that.

And then there is this...

'I'm sure that he's not going to run,' Todd Christie told The Star-Ledger of Newark, New Jersey. The newspaper also reported that the governor told wealthy donors earlier on Tuesday in Santa Ana that he was not entering the race, echoing his previous statements.

When a politician looks the folks with the cash in the eye and say "I am not running" that is exactly what that politician is going to do. Not run.

As for "Christie will decide he has no choice but to get into the game." ???

The author is pulling that one right out of thin air.

Amongst the rest of the article are a rat's nest of contradictions with the whole thing turning into a classic example of logic-twisting.

Cristi is being trial ballooned as a TOOL TO DENY DONATIONS TO CONSERVATIVES.

the donors want to back a potential winner. This is not vote splitting, this is money splitting.

Moonhawk is right, generally speaking. There were some fizzled attempts after she stepped down, but even those were directed at her, not Parnell, her successor. She really couldn’t change the equation while in office. Imagine the outcry if, for example, Blago had tried to change laws being used against him while in office. Conflict of interest much?

BTW, the law has now been changed such that the Palin scenario cannot happen again, they’ve taken away the safety net for fake whistleblowers bringing false accusations. You legislate, you learn, you legislate some more. That’s how it works.

The ethics law did have some precautions against abuse by fake whistleblowers. Neither side was to publicly discuss the case till it was adjudicated, thus killing the political motivation to create bad publicity, even when the case would eventually be tossed for lack of merit.

What the lawyer who wrote the act failed to consider, and what has now been fixed, is what happens when the fake whistleblower ignores the gag rule and makes bad headlines anyway? Hence the political motive survived, because there was no downside to ignoring the gag rule. So Palin’s real problem was not naivete, but finding a good lawyer.

I don’t see what one has to do with the other.

Christie thinks he will be a spoiler for Sarah? If anything he will hurt Milt Romney.

"If the queen of the Tea Party makes a grand entrance into the Republican primary sweepstakes the New Jersey governor will finally say yes to all the calls for him to jump into the race."

I wish the media would cut the crap of trying to tie the Tea Party to a single personality. It is much easier to demonize the movement if it can be tied to a single person. The Tea Party has no "Queen", King, or even a single leader.

“Palin will announce her candidacy, campaign for the nomination and win, without wasting her time on a single debate. MSM and precisionshootist heads will explode.”

------------------------------------------------------------ Nope. I would support her 100% but it isn't going to happen. You see I like Sarah and like what she has done to further the conservative agenda. At this point however she is now doing more harm than good by holding out with an announcement. If she holds out and runs that might be ok but if she holds out like this and does not run she is taking resources and support away from the eventual nominee. The idea that she has not decided is a joke, she knows and has known for a long time what she intends to do. This game has gone on too long and it's time for her to commit or get the hell out of the way.

I hope you guys that are passionate about Palin are going to transfer that passion to the Republican nominee if/when she does not run.

I'm sure most will. I won't. I quit the Republican party. If they choose Palin as the nominee, I'll donate money, time and my vote to help her get elected, along with tea party candidates. If they don't, I'm going fishing.

“PS:
Sarah Palin resigned from the Oil and Gas Commission in AK because it was corrupt then beat a powerful AK incumbent governor in the primary and put many “Republicans” in jail.”

Yes, I’m well aware of this also and unfortunately I think you are looking at it in a much more positive light than will the Republican voters at large. When this comes out and it most certainly would if she were to run the most likely interpretation will be that not only did she resign from the governors office but that she has a HISTORY of resigning from office.

I did not even mention this in my previous posts but it’s just one more reason to conclude that the resignation issue is insurmountable. Only a die hard Palin fan would consider this previous resignation plus her resignation from the governors office a plus. Her prior resignation from the OGC is not commonly known but it’s there and it’s unavoidable and it would come out if she were to run. There is just no way to spin this in a positive way that would clean up the mess.

This and other reasons is why I say she is not running and she knows it and has known it.
