Fox News Poll: GOP Race Top Tier Now Romney, Perry and Cain
Fox News ^ | September 28, 2011 | Dana Blanton

Three September debates have shaken-up the race for the Republican presidential nomination. Herman Cain has jumped into the top tier. Rick Perry’s stumbled. Mitt Romney's holding steady.

And Michele Bachmann is hitting bottom. That’s according to a Fox News poll released Wednesday.

The new poll found Cain’s support has nearly tripled among GOP primary voters to 17 percent.

That’s up from 6 percent before this month’s debates, and puts him in what is essentially a three-way tie with Perry and Romney.

I was an early Bachmann supporter. I’d really like to see her jump out and endorse Cain.

I just made my donation to Cain’s campaign by buying an autographed copy of his new book. Woot! I’ve had a really good feeling about him for a long time now.

I just did the same thing.

They are clearly pushing Herm, just as they did Bachmann and Perry before. Yes in part to try and discourage Gov Palin from running.

Look up "paranoid delusion".

This country needs a proven leader with executive experience.

You mean government "executive experience" like Carter and Clinton or Bush? How about someone who has real world executive experience but without all of the political "baggage", like Cain.

So you are saying the MSM/REP EST never pushes anybody? Has no agenda?

Talk about delusional (your words)

Who are these people that keep pushing Romney? I swear that I know nobody that is for him, or would even vote for him.

Ye olde Eastern Establishment, promoter of losers and dickheads like Wendell Willkie, Thomas Dewey, and Nelson Rockefeller; and nemesis of conservatives like Robert A. Taft.

HEY! The CEO of AutoZone is a relative of mine!

I’d rather see him in the White House than the goofball who is the current resident.

Ron Paul-libertarian-Some good ideas like de-fund UN, but foreign relations sucks, and social liberal.

Michele Bachmann-Conservative, first of three candidates to repeal Obama care, De-fund UN

Jon Huntsman-libertarian socialism endorsed by left.

Herman Cain-Conservative-Great Idea’s, successful leader, can compete with Obama.

Mitt Romney-Globalist, Romney Care, UN supporter, wolf in sheep’s clothing.

Rick Santorum-Conservative- Good Idea’s

Newt Gingrich-Conservative, Great Idea’s, not much of a leader, laid back.

I guess you are not the sharpest knife in the drawer then, MSM pollsters have been manufacturing polls and opinion long before Gov Palin came on the scene.

A win in Iowa would put Herman Cain on the right track to the White House like it did President Clueless. Cain needs to mobilize the Black churches of Iowa. Hey, use whatever you got. Bachmann depends on it being a neighboring state and her state of birth. Romney depends on his money and his establishement Republican friends. Perry depends of people just being ignorant. Ron Paul depends on his faithful followers’ radical involvement. So, hey, let Cain use the Black population to his advantage. He says he can pull 30% of the Black vote from Zero. I believe him.

He has been getting “name recognition” all week long, appearing on many TV shows. His interviewers can’t seem to trip him up. He always has an appropriate answer.

I like the idea of getting the black churches to campaign for him in Iowa. Wouldn’t that be a stunner, if he beats out Bachmann, the Iowa native?

There are country club Republicans who are now really regretting supporting 0 and see Mittens as someone about whom they can be comfortable. Don't doubt that Huntsman and Romney have their fans, and expect them to be presented as the "reasonable" choice in the Dino media as 0 continues to falter.

Expect the Dino media to avoid publishing any nasty stuff about him for the next few months and expect them to really continue to pile on Perry.

If you look at the cumulative numbers, remember, the RINOs get less than a quarter of the vote.
