The one African-American running for the GOP presidential nomination Actually, Cain is the only African-American running for the Presidency. There's some other guy who is half-white and the rest mostly Arab and a little bit black...but he's not in any way an American. :)

If Cain is right, then he starts out with at least a 5 point advantage in the general election, relative to any other Republican. In fact, it may be higher, as some of the white guilt-trippers may actually find themselves able (for the first time) to pull the lever for a Republican.
So, just from a tactical viewpoint, Cain is the man for 2012. Of course his politics certainly help too (particularly making life as difficult as possible for illegals).

I have heard personally that Col. Allen West does not get along too well with Herman Cain. Not sure if that is the case, I sure hope not. But in a case like this, sheesh, Cain is going to catch all kinds of holy hell from the American liberal media, the Black Panthers, Congressional Black Caucus, you name it, 24/7. Katy, bar the door. I hope Col (Congressman) West does the right thing and turns it around proactively and comes to the immediate public defense of Herman Cain and goes on a media offense onslaught. Just like Mark Levin says "THERE. I SAID IT!" And do not back down. They really need each other at a time like this...when someone DARED TO TELL THE POLITICALLY INCORRECT BOLD TRUTH!!

Relax. The Black community will not turn on Herman Cain. In fact Black Americans and others have been waiting for a person with the message Cain is articulating. You would be surprised at the number of Black people who did not support Obama in the 2008 election. Much of this support the Black community 'gave' Obama is a myth and invention of the main stream media.
This is why Cain has them in a panic
