It is nuclear war that fries the electrical grid. would take us back to the 1850s in a few seconds.

I am not saying it is going to happen. I am saying that we need to take the threat seriously and elect strong leaders.

Electric Magnetic Pulse device. Remember the movie Oceans 11? Yeah George Clooney and a bunch of liberal actors but it was a good movie. Anywho, there is some credence to that device and people are worried in a war scenario our electrical grid will be rendered to nothing. I give it SOME credence both in capability and it could happen, but this is a very potent, very advanced device/weapon and it would take a miracle for the terrorists to smuggle in something like that as well as an invading bomber to drop something like that. With the current president, who knows.
