As I watch the Republican presidential debates, I must admit that we have a great field of candidates running, and if the reports about New Jersey Gov. Chris Christie getting into the race are true, then things will only get more interesting. It is a great field of candidates because America is finally getting a chance to see how truly diverse the Republican party is. After all, take a look at the Democrat party. All you will find is a who's who of the anti-American, communist-reject society.
Although I must admit that there is one person missing from the debate stage, and her absence has left many wondering why. I do know that she is of the belief that times have changed, and that Obama and the Democrats are so toxic that she could enter the race as late as November, or even late December, and still be the one to beat. Recent polls taken of just the conservative base in the Republican party prove her right. She is still the one to beat, and that has the rest of the field a little uneasy, and you can bet that Sarah is on their minds.
When Rick Perry jumped in many were claiming it's all over, but since then he has slipped. Since she won the Iowa straw poll, Michele Bachmann has slipped a bit. Rick Perry even attempted to lock up the Christian right vote before he jumped in, but Sarah Palin is still the choice of over 80% of the Christian conservatives. And guess who will show up en masse if she enters the race? You got it, the conservative Christian base. That is why the country-club Republicans keep touting Romney, or begging

That’s true but at this point none of us know which strategy will work. That’s part of what makes primary season exciting.

Like a lot of blockbuster films, they’re only exciting if they’re coherent.
Yes the press had to report she was a competent governor. Haven’t seen a lot of negative press since them. Most of it has been generated by RINO establishment types playing the will she/won’t she/when will she game. She’s said herself (and says the same every time she’s interviewed that her personal time frame is end of Sept/early Oct. I read National Review & WSJ an I’m definitely not a RINO. Being conservative doesn’t mean not keeping up with the news and opinion pieces.

If you’re a candidate, you can’t blame the MSM for everything any more than you can avoid them or even “embargo” them.
Okay, I’ve tried but you make absolutely no sense and it’s obvious you’re trying to be too cute by half, making snarky little comments so you can run back to DU and make up a story about how you “really got those freepers”, or you seriously don’t know what you’re talking about. I’ve honestly tried to engage you in civil, intelligent conversation despite other people warning me against do so. It’s obvious that’s not what you’re here for. Have a good evening.
Cindie
If you were a RINO, you wouldn’t be on FR.
See ya.
You beat me to it. The filing deadline for the Florida primary is 31 October. If you are a serious candidate, you cannot afford not to come in first or second there.
“Bachmann, Cain, Gingrich, and Santorum all have their eyes on stopping Obama, while Huntsman, Perry, and Romney see their fellow Repubs as the main threat.”
I beg to differ-Bachmann used to have her eyes on the target, but lately all she’s been doing is going after Perry. I’ve given money to her campaign and I get all her fundraising emails, and the last 4 or 5 of them have been about Perry. This directly correlates with her tanking in the polls.
I had pledged another $25 to her campaign, but I wrote her back the other day explaining that I’m giving that one to Cain, and if she doesn’t quit harping on Perry and start going after Obama again, I’m going to file credit card chargebacks for all the donations I’ve given her the past 6 months.
I’m one of those obnoxious Palinista’s but this article is just stupid.
The author lists the dates of the primarys in each state but fails to mention that there are legal deadlines for filing to get your name on the ballot.
The first is Utah’s = October 14th.
You are the author of this article are both completely wrong. Palin’s holding out doesn’t have to do with not wanting to debate and there are still plenty of debates to go. But he misses the filing deadlines and goes to the extreme the other way.
She’ll be in soon enough. I’m expecting to see her in the October 18th debate myself.
I like Palin -— a lot.
However, the Palin-Waiters need to remember one thing -— she has never been in this type of primary battle.
As Rick Perry learned, you just don’t jump in, take the lead and sail home.
Palin could suffer a similar fate as Perry did on stage.
This will be new ground for Palin to prove herself upon.
Palin is capable, but so are fantasy-league picks.
Palin-Waiters have created this image of Sarah that is becoming unrealistic. They are in danger of setting her up like the liberals did with Obama, raising expectations so high that she cannot live up to them.
She won’t be in. She won’t be on any more three day quickie bus tours. She won’t debate because she is afraid to. She won’t be running. She is far too late to enter and will be ridiculed to death by the mainstream press if she actually does and she knows this.
Good luck to Sarah Palin but time waits for no one. She could have been a contender if she entered the fray a few months ago. That moment in time is gone gone gone.
The woman we should be holding up and respecting is Michelle Bachmann. She has the guts to debate and take the heat from the lame stream press
Bwahaha—on your home page you boast about your prediction that Perry beats Obama by 17 points.
No wonder you think Palin isn’t running, is too late, is...
your prediction that Perry beats Obama by 17 points>>>>>>
That might not happen the way Perry is going. He is sinking
She's quietly waiting until January 20, 2013, when she will storm DC at the head of a crowd of millions of Freepers, wrest the Bible from Zero, and administer the oath of office to herself.
Good to see you’ve got some grounding with reality at least!
The way these things are being managed is one reason I haven't watched them. About the only thing I'm missing is reading the body language of the participants.
That's entirely non sequitur to what we're talking about, but ok.
