I think of Cain as the anti-Obama: a person with REAL experience in private industry (turning around Burger King franchises and Godfather's Pizza!) and his experience at the Federal Reserve in Kansas City, MO makes him very knowledgeable about US national economic issues.

...and his experience at the Federal Reserve in Kansas City, MO...

Well, yeah, BUT...

As I've stated elsewhere, I wish we could get Cain to speak to the whole question of the Federal Reserve. I'd like to know exactly what his role was at the KC Fed.

Yes, I know some have said it was merely advisory. Perhaps. But I wonder why Herman hasn't said a word about it.

I'm not rejecting Cain outright because of his association with the Fed. For all I know it could be a plus, if he understands its importance. And when The Bernank was dangling QE3 out there, I wish Cain had said, "Don't even consider it". Hell, even Boehner did that.

Isn't it amazing that, apart from RuPaul (who only mentions it in passing), the subject of the Fed is never mentioned.

I know what Perry and Romney think of the Fed. Establishment all the way.

I'd like to hear Herman address the question.

Still, in all, Perry and Romney are unacceptable.

C'mon, Herman step up to the plate...
