Although today is the dawn of the Chinese New Year, most people are unaware that Chinese Christians are gearing up to be the world's most potent missionary force.
China? Christians? Sure enough. For decades now they've had plans to evangelize the Muslim world that lies along the old Silk Road route. This could be one of the most ambitious missionary enterprises in 2,000 years of Christianity. No national church has amazed the world as much as that of the Chinese. From 1 million at the time of the Communist takeover in 1949, it's grown to 100 million followers, a breathtaking growth in 60 years.
Evangelical Chinese Christians have come up with a way to evangelize a large portion of the world that will never see a western missionary. These are countries with large Muslim, Buddhist and Hindu populations, most of them located somewhere along a 7,000-mile route stretching from Xian in central China to the cities of Jerusalem, Antioch and Istanbul in the Middle East. Those were the ancient terminuses of the famous Silk Road.

Our God (of Christians worldwide) is an awesome God. Chinese Christians with a heart for Muslims. God bless them. This is probably THE most difficult evangelical task in the world.
And even more the blood of Jesus Christ Himself.
In the past few months I read an article about Chinese scholars coming to the United States years ago, maybe to Harvard,and they were very interested in the connections between Christianity, capitalism and successful societies. Maybe it in was American Thinker...?? Anyone else recall this. I am too lazy to search.
I know probably 50 Chinese. They are all now proud American citizens, 90% of them are devout Christians. My Doc proudly wears a Cross and American flag lapel pin.
If there is any body of believers prepared to take the Gospel to the Muslim world, it’s the Chinese Church.
40 years of persecution under Mao has prepared them for anything the Muslims throw their way. If the Chinese Church could thrive under the most crippling persecution under Communism, they can thrive in the Middle East.
We can only pray for them.
Evangelization of Muslims is actually a rather successful story that hasn’t been focused upon much. Ironically it’s only in Europe where Muslims have been growing in numbers against the Christian population.

Even yet the Chinese government hasn’t officially taken the lid off of a native Chinese church, which is officially expected to warp its theology to salute the state as sovereign. But not even the Chicom government can stop the power of God in the saints. Like Chinese gunpowder, it becomes more powerful when pressed on every side.
Oh, God bless them and keep them safe, and give them the courage and strength to succeed and endure any and all treatment. I wish I had half their courage.

There are no Christians left in Europe! Socialism has made sure of that. They are the beneficiaries of Christianity and the institutions it has fostered. This residual goodwill will in my humble opinion dissipate within one or two generations if nothing is done to correct this trajectory. Political Islam is making inroads in Europe not because it is Christian but because it is anything but. But there is hope. Europeans are realizing that they’ve been lied to for generations. The chickens are a coming home to roost. They still have time to right the ship, and movements are beginning to take shape i.e the EDL that if anything will realign the political dynamics in Europe.
Oh pshaw, there are still Christians in Europe, although nowhere near their past stature. There remains a fair sprinkling of little evangelical churches throughout Europe. And many Roman Catholics are giants of faith in Poland.
