This interview really demonstrated that Freeman is a really stupid person and that Piers Morgan is a lousy interviewer. when Freeman said that tea party was racist, Morgan didn’t challenge him to produce any example of why he believed this. He simply didn’t put upon Freeman to produce the facts.

I have long since come to the conclusion that most actors are only lovable when someone is writing their lines for them, powdering their noses for them, coaxing them into the occasional bathtub, getting them to work on time, and leading them away from the open bar at the afterparty before they make asps of themselves. It’s a rare actor who doesn’t, when given the chance, make you understand immediately why producers call them “meat with eyes.” Remember, if you see a successful actor, you are looking at someone who was willing to sleep with whomever they had to, back in the day. That’s the personality type who gets to the top in L.A. ... attractive, charismatic, stupid-but-cunning, and sexually available to powerful people. (P.S., I live in West Hollywood. I do believe myself to be speaking the truth.)
