New Jersey Gov. Chris Christie is reconsidering his decision not to enter the 2012 presidential race and he says he will let top Republican donors know within days about his plans, Newsmax has learned. During the past few weeks, several leading Republican donors and fundraisers have been urging the popular Republican governor to reconsider his decision not to run and to enter the GOP primary. These Christie supporters note that significant GOP support has remained on the sidelines of the primary fight. Many leading fundraisers have yet to commit to any current primary contender, including frontrunners Rick Perry and Mitt Romney. Newsmax has learned that the effort to draft Christie culminated in a hush-hush powwow held in the past week with Christie and several notable Republican billionaires.

You have to be kidding and they say it’s too late for Palin to enter. Lol. Why won’t these light weight repubs in checkered pants just go away; stay in NJ and run his mouth there. People won’t like his attitude for long. He lost my vote when he was more in favor of the mosque at ground zero. He will be light on immigration. Mitch Daniels is a strong supporter and wants Christie to enter. Yeah, right-isn’t Daniels the one who said, Obama was not a socialist. The GOP has to give us something here. If I wanted to vote for an elite who the insiders favor, I would vote for Romney. I have a feeling we are going to be stuck with one of these insiders-you can see it happening.
I agree with you. I wouldn’t vote for Christie and the Evangelicals would likely stay home as well.
Right you are!
I have been saying basically the same thing also. I say that the MSM/REP EST are basically working this one together when it comes to Gov Palin. They are using their joint stable of pollsters to manipulate opinion against her.
They have basically had to remove her name from the polls altogether. Sarah is the one they fear/hate
Very well stated, Astronaut. People here have definitely stated they’d stay home and let 0bama win before they’d vote for an imperfect conservative.
I guess they don’t think 0bama has done enough damage, and that he needs another four years to totally destroy the country.
I want to scream when. Hear people thinking they will stay ohm in 2012.
I would rather a 6 out 10 over a -10 out of 10 any day right now.
Sure, it’s clear that the media are in the tank already for Rommny, and the polls started leaving Sarah off when she started to gain ground.
For some crazy reason, some polls only include DECLARED candidates. Go figure.
His senior staff people say this article is wrong.
We better get ready for this Romney/Graham ticket...are you excited?
“I cant believe you think hes only 280. Hes at least 330. Hes huge.”
Hmmm...let’s see...
Obama’s nice and slim...
>>>I guess they dont think 0bama has done enough damage, and that he needs another four years to totally destroy the country.
Everyone should vote. Votes are not wasted. I do think that some people have been fighting for a good candidate for so long, they are becoming disenchanted with the process and as well as exhausted.
Leave the gun, take the cannoli.
I like Christie - IN NEW JERSEY.
Exactly what I’ve been thinking and saying. This quest for perfection results in nothing but destruction of our own. The enemy will be us if we don’t get a grip.
How’s he on immigration? LOL
He’s a good guy, but NO.
On the basis of his weight alone. NO.
Anybody with that weight can not be considered a serious presidential candidate because there are clearly issues there.
I am not perfect and am overweight myself, but that is enough to raise tons of questions on the trail regarding health, self-control, stamina etc.
No.
First time I’ve seem more than his face. He’s a cardiac infarction on wheels. Blocked cardiac arteries don’t care if you’re governor...
not another rino!
lose 150 lbs and get back to us.
Agreed. He’s well over 3 bills.
