People worry that Sarah would draw from Perry and Bachman, but so what?
If she goes in it would be her or Romney IMO.
Yep...the minute she got in she’d leap frog Perry in the polls. Perry is not living up to the high expectations people had for him.

Agreed. With Sarah, I don’t think it’s a matter of who she would pull votes from. Bachman’s about done anyway, and will probably be down to about Jon Huntsman/Gary Johnson level if Palin gets in. And Perry-well, a couple weeks ago it was his race to lose, and he seems to be doing all he can to lose it.
I think a lot of Sarah’s calculation is based on how well Perry does. If he would have come into the debates and kicked butt like he’s been doing on the campaign trail, then she probably would have decided to sit it out. After tonight, it’s clear that Perry is (at least from what we’ve seen so far) a HORRIBLE debater. Given that, I would think Sarah is leaning a lot more toward getting in after tonight.
One other thing-I think those polls we’ve seen lately from GOP voters where the majority don’t want any more candidates (like Palin and Guliani) to get in the race-I’d say they’re about to change dramatically. When Perry got in, many Tea Partiers were satisfied that we had our top-tier conservative to get behind. These debates have instilled a lot of doubt into that premise, which is why I think Sarah is seeing an opening here.
