They don’t give free tuition to illegals. They allow illegals to pay in-state tuition.
So the illegals are getting loans or working here? I am glad we are not paying the $100,000, but again, I have questions about where they are getting it—teen unemployment among LEGAL teens and young adults is at highest rate since WWII....so illegals are competing with legals for student jobs ...Sorry, it has just been a really expensive ride putting 3 kids thru college with no loans.
I also think it is really outrageous that a LEGAL citizen/student from Arkansas will pay out-of-state tuition for at least one year—depending on the accuracy of what I am reading here...
TX, is entitled to do this, but I really did not like Perry’s embrace of the policy and would hate to see it go National.
