If those recanters haven’t admitted to committing perjury, they can “recant” all they want. It doesn’t mean anything.

There’s a reason more than a dozen courts have looked at Davis’ case and refused to overturn his death sentence. He is as innocent as every other executed man since at least 1950, which is to say, guilty as hell.

I have heard ist said that the death penalty is 100percent effective. No killer has come back from the grave to kill again.

This is a good recap. Although there are some posters who insist on moving the football from proof beyond all reasonable doubt to proof beyond all unreasonable doubt

Anderson Cooper os in CNN with some liberal wringing her hands bloody over how terrible the death penalty is.Anderson looked like someone had slapped in the face when Toobin told him the SCOTUS decision against Davis was unanimous and that every judge who has looked at the case has ruled against Davis.

I agree with you his sentence should be commuted. How can we be sure that he committed murder if 7 of nine witnesses recanted??

So does this mean his execution will be rescheduled for 10 years from now?

I heard earlier that one of the two who didn’t recant, Sylvester Something, called “Red,” is suspected of having committed the murder. So, if that were true, he’d surely have a vested interest in standing by his story. I have no idea of the truth, or lack of truth, of any of the ‘witnesses.’
