To: who knows what evil?

Yes, she looked tired to me too; without her usual enthusiasm, but excercised her typical good judgment/answers.

Several time said, we can’t just change the uniforms. We have to change the teams.

All Palin has to do is occasionally comment on Fox (and get handsomely compensated), and throw out tweets and FB postings (notice how detailed and spot on the latter have been of late).

I disagree with that. Anybody who sees her tweets or Facebook posts are probably already going to vote for her if she were the nominee. One has to already have interest enough to click "follow" on Twitter to read her tweets or "Like" her on Facebook to see her Facebook posts. And face it, even though I consider FoxNews center, many people who watch Fox are already voting republican and probably already like Sarah Palin.

She needs to be in the debates or at the very least hitting all the networks. Not just friendly FoxNews.

How long before we hear... ‘She didn’t criticize_________. That means she’s going to endorse him!!!’

Sarah is running.

In another shot at all the legislators (especially Bachmann) she wanted to see results, not how they “fought” for this or that.

These debates are pointless, mindless, rock tossing contests. They may as well be moderated by Ernest T Bass.

Palin's tweets routinely go viral and reach way past the initial audience. I suspect in the next couple of weeks she will be releasing a series of policy statements / position papers that will get her visibility again.

Bachman has no results to show.

And that would be Governor Palin’s point.

My wife and I had the same conversation. She does need to slow down more when she speaks. She’s not going to be interrupted.

Think Palin has time?

I don't know if she has time but there is only one Ronald Reagan. Reagan was The Great Communicator.

While Sarah Palin's ideas are very Reaganesque it will take a lot more time and a lot more talking for Sarah Palin to articulate those great ideas she has than it took Ronald Reagan. Reagan was an actor so that probably helped him.

What may take months for other candidates to articulate to the American people only took a few days to a week for Reagan to do. That's why he was The Great Communicator.

Most candidates use the primary debates to sharpen their debating skills for the general election debates. Most candidates make their gaffes and recover from them during the primary debates and they recover just in time to win the nomination in the end.

By the time the debates come up for the general election, the nominee has been through many debates in the primaries and their debating skills sharpened.

I thought like you did with Fred Thompson back in 2008. Been there done that.

Patience...patience...
Agree that Palin needs to be doing the “traditional” candidate things, but she’s not yet a candidate. Yet, she’s visible on a large scale - and not just right wingers. Case in point: the very favorable reaction from non-conservative sources (eg NY Times) to her Indianola “crony capitalism” speech. Plus, a lot of her twitter/FB efforts have significantly shaped many of the recent major issues.
And, without having spent any significant funds, she seems to be hanging around most of the polls.
She did seem to strongly indicate tonight on Hannity that this would not be a “traditional” campaign. So, if she’s so inclined to move forward, I don’t expect her to do traditional candidate stuff as much as we might be used to.

I do not understand why Bachmann is up there and not Palin. If anybody has a good chance at the Presidency it’s a former or sitting Governor, not a Congressman or Congresswoman.

For some reason Representative Bachmann got caught up in her own celebrity. Someone must have convinced her she could make a run. They were less than honest with her.

I'm sorry to say that, so far Bachmann's results are negative.

She's dug a hole and now she has to figure out how to stop digging and then how to climb out of it.

There's lots of time to do both, but can she?

Those Facebook posts and tweets can be spread around to liberals. I've done this with my son who had to admit he agreed with her speech in New Hampshire regarding crony capitalism - the same speech that got the favorable attention from the NYT.

And she's become such a celebrity that there must be at least some curious liberals.

The thing is, it's coming into the national conciseness: Palin for POTUS - (oh no are you crazy?), Palin for POTUS (well she is a survivor) Palin for POTUS (gee, she is making some sense)_...the idea of it all gradually seeps into the realm of possibility.

Conservatism and Tradition goes hand in hand.

We like things to stay the same. It's the American way.

New look and obvious work with a voice coach. I sure hope this means she is running!

Well, supporters and detractors alike have commented that she would benefit from vocal coaching. That she appears to have done so, is further evidence that her announcement is nigh.
