I disagree with that. Anybody who sees her tweets or Facebook posts are probably already going to vote for her if she were the nominee. One has to already have interest enough to click "follow" on Twitter to read her tweets or "Like" her on Facebook to see her Facebook posts. And face it, even though I consider FoxNews center, many people who watch Fox are already voting republican and probably already like Sarah Palin.
She needs to be in the debates or at the very least hitting all the networks. Not just friendly FoxNews.
Palin's tweets routinely go viral and reach way past the initial audience. I suspect in the next couple of weeks she will be releasing a series of policy statements / position papers that will get her visibility again.
Patience...patience...
Agree that Palin needs to be doing the “traditional” candidate things, but she’s not yet a candidate. Yet, she’s visible on a large scale - and not just right wingers. Case in point: the very favorable reaction from non-conservative sources (eg NY Times) to her Indianola “crony capitalism” speech. Plus, a lot of her twitter/FB efforts have significantly shaped many of the recent major issues.
And, without having spent any significant funds, she seems to be hanging around most of the polls.
She did seem to strongly indicate tonight on Hannity that this would not be a “traditional” campaign. So, if she’s so inclined to move forward, I don’t expect her to do traditional candidate stuff as much as we might be used to.
And she's become such a celebrity that there must be at least some curious liberals.
The thing is, it's coming into the national conciseness: Palin for POTUS - (oh no are you crazy?), Palin for POTUS (well she is a survivor) Palin for POTUS (gee, she is making some sense)_...the idea of it all gradually seeps into the realm of possibility.
You do realize that ALL the media follow her on twitter and friend her on FB... I follow her and am her friend on FB, but I ALWAYS see her FB/Twitter posts via other places before I see it on the Social networks. It goes viral that fast. Many times, it’s liberals telling me “Palin said this or that” before I’ve had a chance to see it myself. And why the heck should she give MSNBC or any other alphabet networks any smidgen of her time after how they’ve done her. She is taking her message straight to the people, without their filter. AND liberal watch fox too.... they’re always telling me word for word what said on there and calling me a Fox parrot.... yet they know waaaaaaaayyyy more about what is said on Fox than I do....
While she’s still under contact with Fox, hitting other networks can’t happen.
