Gingrich promised to lay out a very visionary new Contract with America during a speech next week in Iowa.
It will be 10 times deeper and more comprehensive than 1994,

I anticipate this new Contract with America will be nothing short of awesome.
I never thought I’d be saying this because I am not a Newt fan, but compared to Perry, Romney and Bachmann, he actually is starting to look better (not great, just better).
I expect he will deliver a stem-winder and then withdraw. One can only hope he blesses the right candidate to follow his policies & procedures manual.
Newt knows how stuff works. Brains bigger than his britches. Too bad his name wasn’t Newt Kennedy & have the media protecting him.
The often rumored, but rarely actually seen, Newt cheerleader.
Good luck to you. Decide on a second choice...you’ll need it.
The MORE I saw of Gingrich tearing apart Chris Wallace and those other media creeps in the debates, the better I liked him.
Like you, I've no doubt.
Problem is, Newt isn't the man to make it happen. He's an idea guy. Administration isn't his strength; nor is single-minded focus and attention span.
A week after the speech, he'll be chasing another chimera.
I'd want him in any GOP President's "kitchen cabinet", but I wouldn't trust him to run a Cabinet department.
That said, I have loved him at every single debate. He is articulate, wicked fast-on-his-feet and historically brilliant. He attacks the Libs effortlessly and not his fellow candidates. I'd like to see him as VP on the ultimate ticket, if only to see him debate Slo Joe.
If anyone can do it, it’s Newt.
That being said, he is 10,000 times more qualified than Obama ever was in his most ambitious dreams.
I’m no longer thrilled with any of our choices, so anything he has to say can only increase his chances for my support.
I must admit Jim Demint and Sarah are my choices.

I enjoy listening to Newt, but don’t know if people would vote for him. He may not be able to defeat Obama.
I wish I could hear more from Rick Santorum, but he rarely gets to say much. He seems like a decent guy.

It’s hard for me to watch Newt in a debate and NOT write a check. If his numbers continue to creep up, watch the donations start to pick up - and when that happens, Mitt and Rick better watch out.
I’ve always considered Newt the smartest politician around. Granted he’s made some bad gaffes but nothing that can’t be overlooked IMO or keep him from being the GOP nominee.
Three times, sorry. That’s what happens when I try to post from my iPad .
three “Very’s
I bet it ain’t that important.
or there would have been 4
Newt has the right idea but he’s just not Presidential sorry to say.
I’d love to see him as Cain’s VP but they’re both Georgia boys so that won’t fly.
:-)
Oh I thought they went with the “Very’s”
