We’ve got to stop it all and focus on rebuilding our country after the devastation caused by Obama. When we are strong and powerful again we can resume our role as a helping hand to the world. If we allow Obama to destroy us we will be of no use to anyone, here or abroad.

When the Dems shoved through the first(?) 800 billion dollar stimulus, frankly, I was all for Roads and Bridges and Infrastructure. Figured that they were going to spend the money anyway, so it shouldn't go to waste. Might as well have something to show for it. And there are plenty of bridges that can use an upfit, for sure.
Now that we're several trillion in the hole from Porkulous, QE1, QE2, TARP, and likely a dozen other things that I'm forgetting....... I say "forget it". They had their chance.
Well, it sounded bad on TV too but I did like his tie.

If it’s dollar for dollar, thanks to baseline budgeting, there is NO cut.
I heard that the vast majority was counting the troop withdrawals from Iraq and Afghanistan, which were happening anyway, as a part of these cuts. That's like saying that my diet plan is to cut down on ice cream, when I only have another pint left in my freezer.
