When Clinton saw the republican landslide of 1994 he opined, "The era of big government is over." He was lying of course, but he recognized and acknowledged what the electorate had told him.

When Obama saw the republican landslide of 2010, he scowled and doubled down on his discredited agenda.

Two very different people--I don't think Obama actually allows himself to see that he has become a 170 pound hemorrhoid to his own party.

Agreed. Obama is a classic narcissist. His mirror reflects only a false, beautiful image. He literally cannot imagine that he is wrong about anything. He will protect his ego at any price. That’s dangerous.

Clinton is far more wily. He will protect his personal success at any price, which sometimes aligned with the good of the country (thanks to the constitution).
