Attack Watch, website started by President Obama's campaign organization, was intended to be a repository for supporters to report "attacks" on Obama's record and get the facts. But its rollout has been met with scathing mockery by conservatives, who call it a second-rate version of previous Big Brother sites created by Team Obama.
The onslaught of hilarity was fed first by a brutal parody created by an outfit called Misfit Politics. The mock ad repeats the name "Attack Watch" in a voice mimicking the Budweiser "Whassup" ad of Super Bowl yore and then goes on to offer examples of the types of misinformation readers can report.
Conservative critic Mark Steyn, a native of the U.K., then cheered that he was the only foreigner with a designation on AttackWatch.com.

I’m actually wondering if Obama knows about this yet. It wouldn’t surprise me if his underlings are afraid to tell him how stupid they’ve made him look (once again.)
“someone in the Obama Admin thought it was GREAT IDEA”
Exactly. I told my hubby I’m having fun imagining being in the staff meeting where someone threw this out as a good idea... and the other attendees concurred!! Hilarious.
Better than the first one. I sent it to several dozen buds.
Just analyze the title of the article: “Obama Campaign’s ‘Attack Watch’ Becomes Victim of Conservative Mockery”. So the most powerful human on the earth is now a “victim”? :?
1. The Solyndra financial collapse fiasco.
2. The questionable collapse of several other "green" companies that were funded by the 2009 stimulus funds.
3. The budding scandal over LightSquared.
4. The continuing mishandling of the overall economy.
5. And now, the Attack Watch idea literally blowing up in their faces.
No wonder is Obama sinking fast politically, his fellow Democrats are starting to abandon him like rats from a sinking ship and everyone is laughing at him along the way. Ouch!
Didn’t see ‘Fast and Furious’ in your list ;)
Attaaaaaack Waaaatch Waaaatch.

Saw this tweet this morning
“With every 3 reports to #attackwatch you receive a Fast and Furious assault rifle”.

I know - I’ve had the most fun with Eric Boehlert (my Twitter name: @pursueliberty). Have at it!
My best moment yesterday - Brad Thor RT’d me! Woo!
One of the most effective ways we can take these people down is to mock them mercilessly.
I even went so far as to create my own AttackWatch avatar, linked to my home pages on FR and Facebook:
That’s Dolph Lundgren, Ivan Drago from Rocky IV 20 years ago.

I first read about this on the Washington Post site. Their title of the article said Attack Watch becomes “laughingstock of the Internet”. Suddenly, a few hours later it changes to “laughingstock of the conservatives”. Guess that makes Obama less of a laughingstock,eh? After all, who cares what the conservatives think. Good move WaPo. Morons.
“his underlings are afraid to tell him how stupid theyve made him look”
Kind of like “hitler finds out that Attackwach is a joke” on youtube. Very funny.
“#attackwatch is not showing on Twitter Trends.
Blogger GulagBound claims proof of hiding attackwatch trends.
That is awesome Andy!
You are very creative and I’m feeling just a little bit jealous...
“#AttackWatch: Because #ResistWeMuch was already taken.
Is my current favorite.
