To many, including me, dining out is a splurge.

I just heard a shocking statistic (and can't put my fingers on the article) that the average family spends 30-40% on eating out. I remember this because I did a quick mental calculation to determine that my household doesn't even spend 10%.

"The announcement was the latest deal signed by the Partnership for a Healthier America, the non-profit created to operate Mrs. Obama's "Let's Move" anti-childhood obesity drive."

More fascism at work for your own good, and corporations comply (for their own good).

A caller to Levin mentioned this (Levin went ballistic).

LANSING, Mich. (WLS) - In an attempt to combat Michigan's childhood obesity epidemic, Gov. Rick Snyder announced Wednesday that the state would begin tracking kids' body mass index through the Michigan Care Improvement Registry. Although the policy would be one of the most extensive government anti-childhood obesity efforts, pediatricians were divided over whether it would have the desired impact.

The tracking system would encourage pediatricians to calculate patients' BMI using height and weight measurements, and report these numbers to the state through the existing immunization tracking system, the Michigan Care Improvement Registry. The numbers would be reported anonymously, meaning that the child's identity would not be connected to his or her BMI in state records.

Michigan to track children's BMI
~~~~~~~~~~
Trial balloon now; anonymous data now; mandatory and specific data later when and if Obamacare kicks in--- School and doctor reporting...AND to be surely followed by government visits to your home to monitor the "obesity" quotient of your children. Negligence/child abuse warnings to follow.
Have we learned nothing about how these fascist roll-outs work yet? INCREMENTAL!
Put pot on stove; warm water; insert frog citizens/corporations; turn up heat sloooowly.
Comply NOW or suffer later. For your own good.
Corporations are complying now. For their own good.
Should have clarified:
