“Palin even went as far as to lend her voice to the charge leveled by Rep. Michele Bachmann (R-Minn.) during the debate against Texas Gov. Rick Perry (R): That he allowed a law to go though requiring HPV vaccinations for adolescent girls because of a $5,000 campaign donation and his relationship with his former chief of staff, who went on to lobby for a pharmaceutical company.

A disease transmitted from having multiple sexual contracts.
******************
I don’t know if you are female or not and I don’t care, you’re a FReeper and that’s all that matters to me. :)

Let us say you are a virgin female, OK?

Let us assume you have met the man of your dreams and being Freepers, we will have you marry before sex, OK?

Wedding night: waaahoooo! You have saved yourself all your life for this...

OOOOooops, he had sex before he deflowered you!

How could you have known?! If he wasn’t honest— HPV doesn’t usually present at all in the male— you can’t SEE it. Even a virgin can’t see it (the horrors)! :p

What if you have already married *?military?* and with all these wars he’s deployed— some fellas get lonesome and can’t keep their pony hitched.

Then there is rape and children subjected to this modern enviroment of schools teaching all sorts of crazy sex stuff, it takes ONE....ONE infected partner to infect you and possibly set your death sentence.

ONE—not multiple ONE...that is ALL it takes and it can be a death sentence.

I have known a lot--through they years. Two women I currently know, both professionals. Yeah, probably not from the greatest family backgrounds but normal, functioning adults. One has two MBAs.

Promiscuity is the norm these days. Not even frowned upon in the mainstream culture (we tend to live in a conservative bubble) . This is a common wart-like virus except is genital.

They do freezing and laser surgery as well, sometimes both.

It is painful and hopefully that stops it before death gets his foot in the door.

Funds were accepted and it was made available...not mandated ...that is the language. Give it up.

S/He/It is living in her/his own fantasy world so nothing you say will get her/him to wake up and smell the coffee. S/He/It has repeatably been asked to provide any credible evidence to support her/his wild fantasy accusation yet s/he/it refuses to because s/he/it knows full well it is just another lie. Maybe s/he/it will come out of her/his drug induced hallucinations one day. I wouldn't hold my breath though. Hey Ron (Paul) pass this gal/guy another hit off your toke'.

Palin can support Bachmann all she wants, Bachmann isn’t going anywhere. I signed up with Bachmann, wanted her to run and I adored her but she is done on the presidential bid, anyhow.

Yes, my SIL came back with an abnormal PAP ten years ago. Turned out to be aggressive HPV. She had a few procedures and she's OK now. She went on to have a son.

Damn, my niece had to have something to do with it.

My nephew's wife had an aggressive strain as well.

Not kidding when I say I know a lot of people and I am not hanging out in crack houses with hookers down at the 7.11.

You must know some real winners. I know no young girls who have had cervical cancer or any procedures to freeze abnormal cells on their cervix. Legions, really?

I kinda think that was rude.

Not that you give a fiddlers fart what I think.

MD Anderson says that 80-90% of women will have this disease sometime in their lifetime.

Even oral is a problem.

Don't be a fool. This is not about Palin supporting Bachmann, as much as it is about taking a knife slashes at Governor Perry and inflicting enough small cuts in him to get him to bleeding for the sharks that are circling him and his campaign. The feeding frenzy has started already.

I happened to notice that one of our local talk show hosts this morning is already taking Perry on over these allegations. Until last night he was talking about supporting Perry and was defending him but that isn't the way he is talking this morning and his callers are agreeing with him at a rate of about 2 to 1 rethinking their support for Perry. Typical comment of, "if this is true then.....".

I am no Perry fan but with every ounce of my being, I think he is the one who can beat Obama. He isn't perfect and it gets down to a silly charisma game. With Obama, that counts 100%. Palin won't pitch a hat in and there is NO WAY Bachmann will beat him.Palin, either--she has too many haters.

Yes, say thank you Michele, welcome Obama. We have one chance and it isn't the harpies we have going, unless Perry can maneuver out of this, we are done against Obama.

In the end I think this is a matter for parents and not for the government to decide.

For a public official to assume they must “protect” all 12 year old girls from sexually transmitted disease is to assume they are all having sex with multiple partners.

That’s just plain sick thinking.

Candidates for President of the United States don’t think that way, candidates for Megan’s List do.......

I want Obummer out of our office as much as anyone else. But trading one crooked crony with a 'D' after his name for just another crooked crony with a 'R' after his name is not the answer either. I don't know for sure just who I will vote for yet but I do like Bachmann and Palin but also realize that Bachmann most likely won't get the nod.

I'm not ready to write off Palin but I am sure that I will not vote for Perry. Heck, I'd support and vote for a Tea Party favorite running as a 3rd party candidate before I'd vote Perry knowing what I know about him. I honestly believe that he is a crony crook through and through and I won't have any part of that.

Initially I liked Perry somewhat but the more I learn about him the less I like him. I'm now at the point that I believe he would be bad for the country at a time when we need real honesty, straightforwardness and true transparency and who is for the average working man and not just for his big campaign contributors.

She said she'd decide by the end of September.

actually, as I discovered on another thread, she didn't say that at all. She just gave some subtle hints, allowed the media to infer what her intentions were and just let the rumors hang.

if she's still sniping from the sidelines in mid-October, are guys like you going to keep cheering her on while she participates in her quest to destroy the Republican party and mold it into her image?

She supported TARP and McCain's primary run. She ain't as perfect as people insist she is.

“Alaska mandated Gardasil, too....under Palin in 2007. OOPS!!!”

Show me where Governor Palin signed an executive order forcing a mandate, and then received a campaign donation, like your candidate. Oh, you can’t?

Well listening to Palin on Greta last night, there is no doubt she is getting in. She let Perry have it in no uncertain terms. She accused him of bascially being a crook and supporting mandating the HPV vaccine because one of his campaign staff was an executive at the drug company making it. That is calling Perry a slimey toad, I don't know how else you could take that. At the least I can't see how she could support him now or offer an endorsement.

I agree, I didn't think I suggested less

For a public official to assume they must “protect” all 12 year old girls from sexually transmitted disease is to assume they are all having sex with multiple partners.

Again, it does NOT take MULTIPLE partners! It takes ONE time, ONE partner, ONE crap roll of the di, that is it. Perry didn't decide this on his own, thank our Feds.

That’s just plain sick thinking.

What is just plain sick thinking?

Candidates for President of the United States don’t think that way, candidates for Megan’s List do.......

Think what way? Would Palin be a saint? What about Bristol, don't tell me Levi was faithful. What does it take to make you understand? Yes! Perry was wrong, he said so but that vaccine is a godsend! If ONE girl can skip getting this nasty virus, it helped.

OK, I looked up Megans list (law), but overall I don't see your connection there. That is for registered sex offenders, surely you don't think STD's, especially this one only spreads in that way?

Palin has been deciding since 2008 if she will run or not. What she is doing now just makes her tiresome. If she can’t decide after this time it is time for everyone to just move on and leave her on her front porch.
