Just to recap.

Boeing can't build a plant in South Carolina because of the unions and a labor board headed by President Obama's man. But we can sell jets to Brazil and create some jobs there, legally.

And this administration is unable to see how their bureaucracy and rules impede economic growth. lol

This is part of his redistribution of wealth idea gone global. Send high-paying jobs to other countries, impoverish Americans, destroy our global competitiveness, place regulations on American companies to drive them out of business, etc. That way, America is no longer the premier global economic power.

Oh, there is more....

The Obama Regime won’t let us drill for deep water oil in the USA.

Obama loans $2 billion at low interest for the specific purpose of deep water oil drilling by Petrobras, the Brazilian petroleum company that democrat party bribe giver, oops I meant contributor, George Soros.

In other words, Soros pays the democrats to shut down his competition (the USA) and even loan him the money to screw our nation.

Just for the record, Boeing made the same offer to India but didn’t make the cut.

Let me point out that when they do this particular type of deal, each fighter unit made ends up costing about 300% more..!

It’s way waaaaay cheaper for the country to simply buy finished units right off the shelf, but they don’t because the goal is always something else —paying their friends (a large company like Embraer), or taking the jobs that otherwise would have been created in the USA.

So Brazil will end up spending much, much more and for less defensive gear. But it doesn’t matter cuz the objective is not really defense, primarily.

We’ve given everything else to the CHICOMS....but not the F/A-18.

Might as well sell someone the manufacturing rights to the F-22 as well. We aren’t willing to build it anymore. [/sarc]

Don't know where you got that idea.

Brazil is very much in the business of airplanes already.

If you fly on commuter aircraft, you have almost surely flown on a Brazilian made Bombarier.

How can we put this on e-mail. Everyone needs to know the corruption going on with our military contracts, because of the muslim in OUR whitehouse and his side kick in the justice department plus the National Lavor Dept. We need to protect our military advantage.

FWIW IIRC The brazilian govt holds (at least did as of 2002) the ‘golden share’ in Embraer. This is a share that gives the military veto power over certain actions by Embraer. (Studied Embraer for a case study years ago - may be old info.)

The majority of the commuter jets flown in the United States are built in Brazil by Embraer. They make good stuff, do not sell them short. They are not stupid.
