Newt Gingrich

Mitt Romney
Romney was governor of Massachusetts (2003 to 2007) and former CEO of Bain Capital, a private equity investment firm. He unsuccessfully sought the Republican 2008 nomination for president. He has an MBA (Harvard) and JD (Harvard Law).
Rick Santorum
Santorum served two terms in the U.S. House and two terms in the U.S. Senate. He became the Senate's third-ranking Republican in 2001. He was defeated for reelection in 2006.
I know it’s not new, but now you have dems quoting the republican candidates on it.
Santorum and the cheering crowd reacting to Santorum's points really deflated Perry on that issue.
What Santorum was suggesting is that long established Public Health policy wrt/ to vaccines is vaccinate in schools to control what is infectious. What Gardasil treats is not infectious, especially in junior high age kids.
I don't know it doesn't bother me a bit...Reagan didn't announce until November and Sarah pretty much left the window as Sept./Oct...that's good enough for me...I just sit back and enjoy all the sooth-saying and conjecturing...:oP
I hope Palin didnt take any Corporate donations. /s
For any parents, it is always up to them to question their child's safety. Not all vaccines/inoculations are mandatory.
Sarah set the stage for bashing Perry on cronyism and sort of gave Bachman a shout out but she knows Bachman isnt going anywhere and will get in when she sees Bachman slipping worse.
God help us.......
The facts are pretty clear about Gardasil: (1) Perry signed the Exec Order, (2) Perry said he was wrong, (3) Perry explained he was thinking protection against cancer as the source of that mistake.
Bachmann said the immunization was forced on little 12 year old girls.
Santorum said Perry had no reason to think HPV was a communicable disease.
Bachmann is wrong because, whether we like this option or not, there WAS an opt out.
Santorum is correct today, sort of, but not as correct when the gardasil decision was made. Current research at the time was showing HPV communicable both orally and, in some research, even by contact with objects. While I’ve not found any research disproving the oral transmission of HPV, I have found research disproving object transmission.
However, AT THAT TIME, there was under consideration at least 3 methods of transmission:
1. Promiscuous sexuality
2. Sex with one partner unaware of his/her infection
3. Oral transmission
She’s just babbling on and on on Fox. She’s desperate and sounding like a shrew.
Interesting. my kids had to have vaccinations before starting school. No vaccines, no school....2 different states...
And the worst part is she has NO accomplishments - just a mouth speaking conservative ideas.
Yeah, the Democrats never would have figured out how to make that accusation without Palin's help... LOL!
We need a vaccine for PDS.
I think when she referred to having fun about leading the topics for the debate, I took that as leaning toward not running.

The thread.
Don't like it one bit. But it IS funny.
Bachmann and Santorum are dog paddling as fast as they can, to become important.......damn the bad luck...this isnt their year
Yes, I did. He also said her Labor Day Weekend speech in Iowa was trememndous,a nd her most important speech ever--there was so much in it, and he wants to write about it.
With that kind of reaction, it made me go Hmmmm--what does he know?
Sarah was very non-committal about the whole thing, not even committing to the end of Sept. date she had mentioned earlier.
I really hope she runs. She has been vetted and doesn't have the baggage of the others. She is setting the pace and the themes for this race--even Newt acknowledged that.
I guess they moved it.
