Well to be honest, I don’t really care.

I live in Manhattan and am from the area and I am both crying and very much enjoying watching our memorial on TV right now.

Listening to the names has meaning, recognition. I guess you just don’t get it.

Leave NY to do NY, none of your business then.

All I can remember is how fast NY turned on President Bush and said he did it. I remember how they condemned him for fighting back like they asked him to. That’s what I remember about NYC.

Pray for America

Fine. But if it's a local thing, why televise it nationally? 9/11 may have had the most immediate impact on the NYC area, but it has had a profound effect on the lives and liberties of all of us.

I agree with the author of this excellent essay. Let this ten year anniversary mark the end of maudlin and the beginning of resolve. The best way to remember the victims is to avenge their murder.

It’s exactly what I thought. New Yakkers continually blab about how tough New Yakkers are, living in such a maelstrom of crime, violence and all. Then the moment someone criticizes you New Yakkers and your city, you go sobbing into the bathroom and weep. What a bunch of hooey. This should be your newest marketing slogan: Stay away if you’re going to hurt our feelings.

You all let the powers-that-be remove Christianity from your public observance . . . 9/11 isn't over for you yet.
