The weight of the world and his prime presidential duty of protecting us lived inside him and rested on his shoulders every single day and night for nearly 8 years. And with that relentless devotion to his highest responsibility of protecting this nation, with those collaborative intel operatives and our extraordinary military, his mission was thankfully successful, against all predictions, God love him.

Yesterday

and today - just 10 years later

And he's still demonstrating the honor and dignity of the Office he held which he respects so much, and giving back, particularly to support our awesome troops he so deeply and dearly admires, especially the Wounded Warrior projects.

And they love him right back.

Great pictures, STARWISE....President Bush has his faults, but dissing and disrespecting our military was not one of them.

I really enjoyed the video of him biking with the vets.

Thanks for the pictures...((HUGS))

Absolutely WONDERFUL post, STARWISE!

Thank you for the remembrance of what we once had and have lost.

God BLESS you, President Bush! I thank God daily that His humble servant was at the helm during those dark days.

May we have a person of his character, conviction and courage some day again........and SOON!!

STARWISE, thank you for these wonderful, wonderful pictures. Oh, how I miss President Bush. I listened to his talk in Shanksville on Saturday. He reinforced the reasons why I have always appreciated and respected this good man. He is a true statesman and a patriot. And, he genuinely cares about individual people. I am so proud that he was our President. May God always bless and protect him and lovely Laura.

BTTT! Star!
We visited family in MA this weekend. Here is a little bit about the 9/11 ceremony in Providence RI in front of the Capital there on Sept, 11, 2011

My apologies for the poor cell phone video and pic.
