I hear you. Still evokes the same fury for me, and I’m sure millions.
This is the rest (that I missed) about their request:

Since we all remember where we were on that day and what we were doing, I’m sure that will comprise a large majority of the replies.
God bless our troops and our dear country.
Glad to hear of good news yesterday and maybe more tonight.
Good luck!! Bittersweet for sure.
It was wonderful listening to a man more concerned with comforting the bereaved, and honoring the ones who gave their lives to save us, and to stoke his own ego. He did it in an elegant and eloquent way. The only “I” I heard was when he referred to the former First Lady and himself as “Laura and I...”.
Thanks, unique, for the candle!
mountainlion.....#50!!
What a blessing he was and he is.
May God always smile on him.
Correction: That should be “THAN to stroke his own ego.” Time for bed. :-(
I was the first in the office to say we are under attack. It’s Bin Laden..
10 years on it seems much more convoluted
Smiling ....
Thank you
Thank you for sharing your story, TS, and I hope others will share theirs.
I can remember walking in the kitchen on 9/11, and my husband had Bob Dornan on the radio, and Bob Dornan’s tone was different than it usually was, and after listening awhile I learned what happened.
We have family in NYC, either living there, or working there, including a police officer, and a fire figher, and were worried about all of them.
We phoned to see how they were, but couldn’t get through by phone, so emailed them.
When they saw our email, they were able to phone us and tell us everyone was safe.
But later, my husband received a letter from his brother, telling how one of our relatives, the fire fighter, escaped death by minutes. His fire chief, seeing the grave danger, ordered each of his men out of the area, and counted them one by one as they left, to make sure they would all make it out safely.
But the fire chief didn’t make it. He died a hero, like so many others.
Thank you, Stonewall....excellent videos.
Charlie Daniels can really write them.
And, NO, we have not forgotten.
I am mad as hell!
On this anniversary, Obama has the muslim brother hood on the march from Turkey to the Persian gulf, and across the northern front of Africa
A Blessed Lord’s Day to you and yours, STARWISE...
Great graphics for 9-11. Thanks.
"But I say unto you, Love your enemies, bless them that curse you, do good to them that hate you, and pray for them which despitefully use you, and persecute you; That ye may be the children of your Father which is in heaven: for he maketh his sun to rise on the evil and on the good, and sendeth rain on the just and on the unjust." -from THE BIBLE: Matthew 5:44-45
