I’m so sorry about your loss, and ours, too! I met Nina at Fayetteville, several children ago, and had hoped to see her again. We often FReepmailed about books and cats.
I’ll see you in the Main Library one of these days, hon. Find a good spot with sunbeams.

I’m very sorry Steve. You are in our prayers.
Prayers up.

I am horrified and saddened. Such a beautiful mind, great conservative, troop supporter and friend. She was so at peace with her fairly recent conversion to Catholicism. While I trust she is safe in the Arms of the Great Physician, her recent posts about being at work during the earthquake indicate that this was sudden and unexpected.
Profound condolences to you, Steve, and to all the many FReepers who loved Nina and enjoyed her intelligence, passion, courage, humor and wit.
I remember particularly one day when the DC Chapter freeped Code Pink and Cindy Sheehan in front of the White House. It was a beautiful day and Nina and I had such a great time.
Steve, when you have the strength, please let us Walter Reed folks know what happened to our dear Nina.

RIP
...Nina was an avid and talented Jill-of-all-trades who loved making things for friends and family. She had a fiercely independent spirit and was deeply passionate about causes she held dear. The family has requested that in lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Paul Stefan Foundation at paulstefanhome.org.
Online condolences may be made in her name at mullinsthompsonfredericks burg.com.
Thanks for sharing the video and the obituary. I’m glad Nina was at peace with God and has forgiven herself. She made a great speech about the pain and danger and damages of abortion. God rest her soul.
I’m really sorry to hear that. May God welcome her into Heaven and be with Steve. Prayers.
Our deepest condolences.
Rest in peace, Nina0013.
