Ed Anser would be a seldom-viewed link at imdb.com were it not for Mary Tyler Moore.

Yes, but it was nice to learn that MTM likes Sarah Palin. True.

Apparently Mary used to be more liberal/moderate. She wrote a book “Growing Up Again”.
I guess she did.

The FDR role probably gives him some trouble -- as FDR was too right wing for Ed. He has been quoted as saying he would have loved to give a sensible portrayal of Joe Stalin, telling interviewers that: "I think Joe Stalin was a guy that was hugely misunderstood,"
Asner loves to play the easy going kindly old fellow and he would have been at home starving millions if he had been in Eastern Europeon politics.

How ironic. What was said of MTM in the theme song “who can turn the world on with her smile....make it all seem worthwhile...” is sort of true of Palin too.
No one’s ever said that about Asner or his character Lou Grant.....
To: ReneeLynn
He doesnt seem to mind promoting the Mary Tyler Moore show on MEtv.
How do you say residuals $

Marys got spunk.Lou Grant hates spunk.
PepsiCo learned the hard way what the word, 'spunk' means in England.
Ever since I learned, I use it only in a joking manner.
