>> Katie Couric threw her a relatively softball question, “So which magazines do you read?”

Sarah Palin: “All of them.” <<

.
Are you that stupid?

Palin gave Couric an accurate answer, and an appropriate one; her cognition is magnitude levels above the cotton head Couric, and it wasn’t a softball question, it was an opener to the attack that would have followed if she mentioned the important reading that she does (Human Events, Chronicles, New American, etc) that the liberal morons despise.

She wasn’t “ill prepared” for the national scene, she was ill prepared for being back-stabbed by McCain’s lieutenants; she was used to teams that work together.

That was a softball question she should have been able to hit out of the park. She could have answered that question in many ways. She, for example, “Could have said, “I don’t have time to read magazines. I’m very much involved in reading government reports and my staff keep me well informed of the issues of the day.”

A more seasoned politician would have been able to answer that question easily, without coming across as flustered.

You can try to cover her errors all you want, but it doesn’t change how she came across that interview.

But I realize, without the cultic chant, “all hail Sarah” any criticisms toward her will be met with an all-consuming attack from the Palinites.

There’s nothing wrong with being honest about admitting any politician’s weaknesses, even the ones you support.
