You're right. His eyes are a strangely glowing whitish pink, or pinkish white. Must be the sulfur from his innards getting at him.<->With his black mascara lining his eyes and eyebrows and glowing eyes he looks like a deer caught in the headlights.
God, I can't stand his professorial condescension and order-barking.
