How does her waiting to announce show leadership? or decisiveness? Palin has gone celeb on us, and the oldest media trick in the book is the one where you string people along for the ‘big reveal’.
She was supposed to have a big announcement in Iowa this past week. She delivered a standard-issue speech with no big announcement. yawn.
Many folks are getting bored with it and moving on. How do you talk honestly about the fact that she’s jumped the shark, when the left has PDS and says everything to hurt her, and her own supporters have thin skin due to that media assault?
Palin would do everyone a favor and show leadership by making a clear decision as soon as possible and ‘get on with it’ whatever it is.
I guess you weren't paying attention or you just like to complain. She stated way before the speech(or at least her spokespeople did)that she would NOT be announcing at that speech. She has to the end of this month to announce after that she will not be able to meet the deadline for the earliest primary. Therefore we will know at the end of the month one way or another.
Just because she doesn't play the game the way YOU(and other numerous idiots)want her too doesn't mean she is being coy. She has good reasons for waiting. RR waited much longer to announce, as have other candidates in the past. If she announced early she would have to spend her hard won campaign funds and perhaps run out too soon. That's one legit reason for holding off. Another reason(legit)is because she simply doesn't want to frickin' announce yet.
Get your pacifier and quit crying you will feel better in the morning.
Really? According to whom? The same people who keep telling us that she's unelectable and not going to run? The ones who insist that she's going to support Perry on such-and-such date?
And, as usual, their predictions were wrong. Why do you keep listening to them? If it doesn't come from Palin herself or SarahPAC, any such "supposing" is just somebody's uninformed guess. And that's true whether it's from a supporter or a critic.
I had my own predictions, of course, that turned out not to be true, so I'm a prime example of someone you shouldn't listen to on the subject. ;) (That's not to say that I didn't have solid and logical reasons for my guesses, but in the end, I'm no more privvy to Palin's plans than Karl Rove, Erik Erikson, Ann Coulter, et. al.)
Predictions aside, Palin has said that she will announce her intentions most likely sometime this month, or early October at the latest. That's straight from her own mouth. What's the harm in waiting for her to act on her own schedule? The results will speak for themselves, one way or another, and all of these predictions, poll-gazing, and "conventional wisdom" won't matter one whit in the grand scheme of things, except to those who like to play the "I told you so" game.
So Palin is... indecisive, unable to show leadership, going celeb, stringing people along, boring and has jumped the shark... all because she is going to announce in September.
If you don't want Palin that's fine, but please spare us the nonsense.
