I'm for Palin beccause of what she has done in her life, the values she represents and lives, and the views and plans she is setting forth at a time when we need precisely those views put into action int eh Whiote House and in congress.

If she gets in, she has my support.

If (whether she gets in or not) Perry wins the primaries, he will have my support.

We MUST defeat Obama. I believe either Perry, Palin, or several others can beat him and carry a majority in the house ans Senate.

I do not need the media, the pundits, the insiders, or anyone else telling me who to vote for. I can make that decision very well myself, and base it on what I see for myself as opposed to all the polling data, professional opinons and the like.

I was alive and lived through the same type of hype about Reagan. If we had followed all the experts and polls of that day, we would not have had those eight wonderful, God-send years that helped turn America around back then.

TRANSCRIPT: Palin's speech in New Hampshire on Labor Day

People can read it for themselves and make up their opwn mind.

I read through the speech yesterday, and thought it was patriotic good natured fluff. Nothing wrong with that since she's not actually running for President.

I have to admit, I did have a real hard time listening to the audio version though.

Bingo!
Me, too!
I think that Ann's problem with Governor Palin is that she represents such a completely different CULTURE.

From opinion.latimes.com:

It's not just an East Coast/Ivy League education thing -- since Ann ADORED President Reagan, in spite of his humble background.

And, it's not that she feels challenged by Governor Palin's physical beauty, since Ann is friends with MANY other beautiful women.
I think that the key is that Ann is NOT really a "country girl" at heart -- so she is uncomfortable with the whole NASCAR-watching, moose-killing, raising-a-family-of-five-with-your-highschool-sweetheart, Golly-You-betcha thing.

Governor Palin, however, is.

And, she is TOTALLY at home with the kind of "Tea Party" fans who identify with her -- like Ted Nugent.
