Interesting segment, not because Coulters advancing any new criticisms of Palin but because shes willing to acknowledge openly the political risk on the right in criticizing her in the first place. According to Coulter, conservatives refuse to challenge Palin publicly because they dont want to deal with the hate mail from her supporters. Thats part of it, Im sure by now, all columnists and bloggers know what awaits after criticizing Palin or, say, Ron Paul but I suspect the better part is that theres simply no faster ticket to RINOville among some grassroots conservatives than uttering a discouraging word about Sarah. Its the ultimate one of us litmus test; not even a right-winger as stalwart and confrontational as Coulter is immune, apparently, from the inevitable establishment/RINO/sellout/Beltway cocktail party nonsense afterward. That said, Im curious why shes speaking up now. Has she reached the point where she just doesnt care anymore? Or is she so worried about the election that shes willing to lose some fans in the interest of maximizing the GOPs advantage?
Exit quotation: Shes become sort of the Obama of the tea party, shes just The One to a certain segment of right-wingers. Click the image to watch.
Thanks.
I’m sort of experiencing some cognitive dissonance now.
Quite a lot in fact. There’s a connection, but those are darn good examples of flaws in the theory.
Very noteworthy exceptions, Hillbuzz and Tammy Bruce. No question.
Yet I think of Rosie, or Hollywood, and there seems a connection. Maybe I’m just plain wrong.
Could happen.
In her Speech, Ann said it was great seeing all the Republicans in the Debates trying out to be Christie's V.P. Running Mate.
Outside of a few groans from the Audience, mine included, the crowd just laughed and Ann went on to her next point,
Interesting observation. I know I've lost respect for a lot of people who I thought were smarter than what they show now. It seems that there are many who don't want to change the culture of corruption in Washington. That saddens me.
The frickin' RINOs are using their fear of Obama as a club to bludgeon the rest of us into submitting to their candidate. Well, it just ain't gonna happen!
Maybe Ann is jealous and wants to sell a book.
They’ve filled in for O’Reilly a tad too much.... starting to think like him.
BINGO, I watched her speech in Iowa and she is spot on, no tightrope walking, no afraid of pissing off the fence sitters, just the truth and the facts. Nobody so far is as bold, not even Michelle Bachman. It seems those of my gender on the Right has left their gonads with their campaign managers
Stopped listening to Coulter long ago. Was a big fan at one time.
You could still be right. The examples shown you are a small minority that are known to hate the establishment more than worry about “gay marriage” and such.
Or not, I don’t really know!
“Palin fanatics conveniently ignore Bruce’s advocacy for killing infants in the womb.”
A statement like that begs for some substantiation. I never overlook anyone’s support for baby-killing, and I don’t have the sense that many other Palin supporters do either. (Or “Palin fanatics,” if one wishes to denigrate the candidate and her supporters.)
>>but because she made an unforced decision to
abandoned the Governorship of Alaska<<
And go on a “reality show.” A STUPID one, at that.
I would vote for her too, but does she not know or care about how that crap looks? Obviously not.
Watch the undefeated. You might gain some insight
I completely agree. I really like the lady, but she is not going to save the conservatives. Maybe in the future... Just not her time this year.
In 2008, Ann bimbo choice was Mitt, now her love for Mitt is over, Then she fell in love with Sarah, but now she is jealous of her because of nice husband. Now she is drooling for Christe. Wait when that will be over, she may find something else.
Ann had dated every zero democrats and GOP guy, still not married. She had commitment problem.
There you go!
Anderson: Reagan not electable - March 21, 1980
STAMFORD, Conn. (AP) — John B. Anderson said Thursday that nomination of Republican front-runner Ronald Reagan “will only insure the re-election of President Carter and the continuing economic disaster that we have suffered for three years.”
Said the Illinois congressman, who trails Reagan in the race for the nomination: “I cannot believe that the Republican Party will condemn itself to the kind of lopsided electoral contest that took place in 1964,” when GOP candidate Barry M. Goldwater lost to President Lyndon B. Johnson in a landslide.
Anderson spoke to 700 persons attending a business forum. Later, at a news conference, he would not seek the presidency on a third-party ticket if he fails to win the Republican nomination in July.
You could? I couldn't.
Scouts Out! Cavalry Ho!
Oh don’t worry too much about it.
I’m sure jla feels the same about Perry, who didn’t just have a fan who is pro-abort, but officially endorsed for the Presidency of the United States of America, Giuliani, a candidate who is and was super pro-abort.
Ah... but you are addicted to informing everyone you aren't addicted, right?
I’ve got an idea. Let her run and we’ll see how she does electorally. In the meantime she’ll destroy Obama, absolutely destroy him.
