Possible Multiple Shooting in Carson City, Suspect Still in the Area

CARSON CITY, NV - Carson City sheriff's deputies are investigating a shooting in the area of the IHop on South Carson Street.

Details are very sketchy, but initial reports indicate that more than one person has been shot on the 3800 block of Carson Street and a suspect is still in the area.

We have a crew on the way and we'll update this story as information becomes available.

Just heard on NBC Evening News. Credible Threat out there per report. No link. Haven’t looked for a link yet. HS working from a piece of information .... unnamed. Meetings tonight (HS) regarding information and a determination on whether or not to release information to the public. Wondering where this is going and what this is about?

my humble opinion ... There have been so many unknowns over the past few days mixed in with a large number of knowns leaving me to wonder what to think and not to think. Not thinking is easier and head hurts less (lol). Then admitting, do not know what is real and what is not real regarding reports. Agreed this zer0 administration is a joke, as well as the lamestream media. Finding it difficult to trust the timing as well, though knowing threat is always present. Dates may matter though.

No doubt there are cells all over our country. We also know these cells are not necessarily middle-eastern. There are several reports of the threat is coming out of Pakistan. Maybe true, and maybe not true. Any thoughts?

I have read nothing that says he was born in Mexico....but there always seems to be an illusion to that fact. This article was intimating that he had full rights...meaning there was no criminal record and no history of mental issues recorded in Nevada so he would have been able to purchase a gun and apply for a ‘carry’ permit. What is interesting is that no one can figure out where he got the guns from....and who sold them to him. Although there was mention a couple days ago about 3 pawn shop transactions...but no word on what those transactions were.

As far as Pakistan goes...I have muslim friends from Pakistan who have relatives there. The Paki rumor mill is that Bin Laden is not dead (they say the whole Bin Laden shootout was a cover up for something else) and that his factions are attempting to severely infiltrate Pakistan...which the Pakis do not want. The Pakis all believe they have enough problems without OBL minions coming in and messing with the government and border villages. So as far as Pakistan, itself, being a threat....I dont think so...at least not from the people themselves. IF OBL has infiltrated groups there....it could look like Pakistan is threatening us...but its really not Pakistan doing the threatening...

per report at rgj ... Carson City Sheriff Kenny Furlong says Sencion was born in Mexico. This was copied and pulled from the rgj site. As with anything written on the web, it can be modified. Have not checked to see if modification has occurred.

Not surprising regarding the no release of information regarding weapons procurement. Always thought that info would be held close to the vest. Do not know why exactly unless it would tip someone that someone does not want tipped.

Understand your point regarding Pakistan. From what I remember of the report relating to the origination of the threats, the information was from a tribal region or several tribal regions from intelligence information procured among various tribes. The tribal regions would be militant factions and not a part of the Pakistani government. The region or regions would be part of area or areas where the Pakistan government has sent troops against the tribes. Not sure who won the exchanges, though the tribes are still there and the government appears to have withdrawn. May signal government of Pakistan lost those exchanges with the tribes. The militant factions within the tribes held close ties with OBL, or was reported as such. The exchanges (fighting) occurred prior to OBL being killed, if remembering correctly.
