That punk is too busy with his homey union thugs in Detroitistan to worry about these fires.

Thanks for posting this thread. I have family who are evacuees from this area as of this morning. They don’t know if they will have a home to come back to once the evacuation order is lifted.

Trailers are also needed to evacuate stock..

URGENT NEED for horse transport for evacuation in Bastrop County, TX. Barns that were used to house evacuees are now in the fire's path. Rt 304 still open both ways. Anyone in the area who can help, please call Beth at 512-467-4893 or Rachel at 512-581-2940. There at least 43 horses in immediate need at their rescue, surely there will be more. **Please cross post!!**

Adding my prayers. I used to live just south of Ft Hood. It is wonderful country, and the suffering must be terrible. May God comfort and give strength to all in loss and need. And God, if you are willing, please send rain to the drought-stricken countryside!

Done.

The other night, I did my naked rain dance.

It didn’t work for Texas , but it sure rained like heck here in Illinois.

Check the comments on the original Yahoo article. Most of these people making vile comments are just cowards hiding behind a firewall on their computer. However the mindset combined with the hate spewing that appears on places like Lew Rockwell.com makes me wonder about what many people in this country would do if they could either as some sort of government street militia or just if let off the leash. Bad and evil people disgraces to the name of American and too many of them are among us.

That Magnolia blaze that’s being reported is only 15 minutes north of me. I’m in Tomball (northwest Houston area)... if they lose control of that one the wind would blow it In our direction... And toward Houston.

I’m guessing we’ll be needing our governor to do his duty here in Texas this week.

They were evacuating people four miles north of us in Leander. The air still smells smoky, and we’re watering our lawns as a few neighbors have seen some burning flakes.
