Having lived through the economic "miracles" in Florida and Arizona I am somewhat immune to the rhetoric of another sunbelt governor with miracle holy water.

It turns out you can't build a resiliant state economy on a stampede of low-skill, low-wage transients marginally employed in the service industry.

This is not what Texas has — businesses are moving there from high tax, high regulation states.
