You conduct polls to shape public opinion, not measure it.

It's the internal polls that matter, and we don't get to see those.

Why don't they conduct the same type of poll for Paul or Gingrich or Huckabee or Romney or the RINO cowboy?

Because they'd get the same results, that's why.

But single out Sarah, and it looks like it means something.

The longer she delays announcing her candidacy, the longer she keeps the ruling-class RINOs, state-controlled media, DemocRAT and Republican opponents, etc. in complete and total disarray.

Why should she give up her strategic advantage?

To make it "fair" for the RINOs and 'Rats?

Palin is coming, and the Tea Party is coming with her.

ineluctable

Really now? What could she possibly be waiting for? Yes, she has lots of time before the primaries but as a leader, she needs to come out now.

I’m sure they checked all their Tea Party membership cards with their TELEVISION MAGIC and there wasn’t a Dem or a Rino or a lying sack of s*** among them.

Urine is running in the gutters in DC.

“You conduct polls to shape public opinion, not measure it.”

No truer words will be written on FR today.

Interesting take (about the same as mine, BTW). Also heard, that some "deep thinker," aka beltway pundits talking to one another, stating that "Palin wasn't going to run," as she had done none of the "groundwork" of setting up state committees, had fundraisers and no doubt, "political advisers" telling her what and how to run a campaign = therefore, she wasn't "running."

I've also noticed that the same folk inside the beltway and across the fruited plain, stating that Cheney doesn't think she'd either run, get the nomination or elected, can't remember which. This came from his statement that he wasn't sure if he knew the reasons for her early resignation of her governorship. (Coming from the same folk who detest Cheney, refer to him as "Darth Vader," etc. this is rich.)

Considering that Cheney was going through some pretty rough patches of his heart ailment, surgery, medically induced coma and recovery, I'm not surprised he was not ble to learn through the media clutter that Palin stated that she chose not to bankrupt her state having to defend her from all of the frivolous lawsuits, she believes that her responsibility to the people of Alaska was NOT to spend their tax dollars to pay her legal bills.

Why don't they conduct the same type of poll for Paul or Gingrich or Huckabee or Romney or the RINO cowboy?

Isn't the answer to that rather obvious, E. Pluribus Unum?

Have Ron Paul, Newt Gingrich, Mike Huckabee, Mitt Romney and Rick Perry declared, YES or NO, if they will run?

Yes. Huckabee declared that he will NOT run and the others ARE running.

Has Sarah Palin declared, YES or NO, if she will run?

No.

Does Sarah Palin keep hinting that she MAY run?

Yes.

The logic of why you ask the "should run" question about Palin and not the others is because the others already "did run" or "did not run".

It’s been said many times, but I’ll repeat it here because it is not only true but uplifting- the reason the MSM are in a white knuckled panic over Sarah is because she connects with middle America like no other politician since Reagan. The level of attack directed against Sarah is a yardstick by which we can measure her electability. She will be attacked viciously by the left, but subtly by the Eastern Establishment Wall Street right. They’ll do stuff like push a Sarah-surrogate Bachmann into the limelight which is the same “out of nowhere” phenomenon we saw with Obama’s subversion of Hillary’s shoe in candidacy. Wall Street is to be feared by true Americans. We need to wage war against the Fed, the big banks, the Bilderberger circles. They constitute an oligarch aristocracy, against which patriots gave their lives to create this nation.

Sarah is independent of Wall Street and understands that their ethicless manipulation of debt instruments for short term gain basically destroyed America’s economy in a time of war. With Sarah elected, Wall Street is looking at meeting new and exiting friends at the Clank Hotel.
