No he was in his state LEADING AND NOT QUITTING.

She quit because she was hit with over 200 frivolous ethics complaints, every single one of which she won.

She wasn't rich then, and like most Americans, hundreds of thousands of dollars of legal bills would have financially destroyed her family. That's what Democrats do... use the legal system to destroy their enemies.

Rick Perry would have had his legal fees taken care of.

Give me somebody to whom a few hundred thousand dollars is a lot of money.

We've tried rich guys like Perry before, and we'll get the same result.

I keep hearing this excuse, but why couldn't she appeal to her supporters for help?
