Thanks for that reminder. What a pleasure reading this thread. Real hope, unlike Obambi’s hopey, changey, rises with the thought of Sarah in the Oval office.

It’s a bold choice to wait out the other candidates and let the Dems attack them rather than her until she is ready.

Or if not ready this time around, agrees to help the primary winner as Secretary of Energy, or even VP again to take over next time. Do not like such alternatives instead of her running but SHE is the one to know best and IMHO has the good of America equally in mind as her own.

She is the only potential candidate who can stand toe to toe and beat Obambi at his own game of pulling in emotional based followers with charisma.

Like any CEO she hires all the expertise she needs and as long as her heart is (and it is) in the right place she will need only to lead us with her principles (and not inconsiderate experience in administration) not RULE us as an expert in everything.

God, I hope she runs and takes on the tsunami wave of attack at her in her stride. She CAN win, on a wave of charisma. Just as Oba-Hussein did against Bush.

Agree: Where’s the announcement?
Mr. hocndoc says it was the five points for recovery. I expected more.

You’re the only one scratching his head so far. What part of ‘let me tell you my plan’ is ambiguous?

That would be the part where she declines to mention that she's running for President.

Am I the only one who didn't hear this? As of this moment, Sarah Palin continues to not be a candidate no matter how "campaign-y" her speech sounded.

Here’s her speech before the GOP convention on 9/3/08—three years ago today:

Pay close attention to minutes 27 thru 30.

She had Zero’s number back then!

She’s running, that speech was a clear shot across the bow. All the talk about “my plan”. And SOMEWHERE,, an entire team of FEC lawyers and accountants ready to launch their first audits and lawsuits threw thier pencils down,,,,, pissed off.

Great speech. She’s exactly what we need. The end was a letdown. It would have been a great speech to announce. If she does eventually announce she’s brilliant. If she doesn’t I do think there is an argument to be made that she’s stringing us along.

She just made a guy’s day in the front row with an autograph and a kiss.

It's like Beatlemania in Iowa right now. Haven't seen this much enthusiasm for a politician since Ronald Reagan days.

Then don’t be coy, announce already!!!!!... she has not yet announced and she’s got a lot of work to do. It might be worth it to get in and start working to overcome the (false) negative impressions.

Palins been "working" longer than any candidate out there my friend....I doubt very much if every stone hasn't been overturned, looked under, and moved on from when needed.

Worth it????? ....she won't be going after the negative press which will always debase and twist her every word...when she announces she'll be going after Obama and the other candidates as she deems necessary.....the rest is paperwork.

Have you not yet learned "Palin Patience" yet?
