A plurality (47%) of Likely U.S. Voters believe it is at least somewhat likely that Palin will enter the presidential race, but that includes only 13% who feel its Very Likely. A new Rasmussen Reports national telephone survey finds that 35% think a Palin bid is unlikely, but just five percent (5%) say its Not At All Likely. Eighteen percent (18%) are undecided. (To see survey question wording, click here.)
Only 18% of voters think it would be good for Republicans if Palin entered the race. Sixty percent (60%) say it would be bad for the party, while 11% predict it would have no impact. Twelve percent (12%) are not sure.
Even most Republicans (52%) believe it would be bad for the GOP if Palin threw her hat in the ring, a view shared by 74% of Democrats and 54% of voters not affiliated with either major party.

I hear ya. The article with sources in post 295 scared me.
Thank you! That is my granddaughter's name, who is more beautiful than her name.
Same here. I've said more than once, if you have to smear someone else to help your candidate, you've already lost.
That’s not what’s posted by either man. Reread, again.
I'm only fired up to help Palin win the presidency. If that isn't to be, I'm saying goodbye to all politics and just enjoy my retirement.
it means I only have the desire to donate considerable time and money to help Sarah Palin get elected. If she isn't in the race, I'm going to have more time and money to do the fun things in life. Like play golf, hunt, fish and go on cruises, etc. I'm not wasting my time or money on a candidate or a party I don't respect just because you are afraid of Obama. My state will carry the day for the Republicans whether I vote or not but I've never missed a primary or general election in my life.
BTW, no one owns my vote but myself. I don't intend to cast it in fear.
This isn’t just a Palin thread, it’s also a thread about the fact that among the GOP she is polling badly. So you are saying that those of us who are lifelong GOP voters aren’t allowed to comment on this issue?
Talk about stifling the debate here.
I am smiling. I’m sure she is! Thanks for telling me!!!!
It's very difficult to refute these lies about her record and the PDS'ers know it. To counter the lie about oil companies taxed out of existence by Palin, I had to go through 10 years of ConocoPhillips 10-k reports (they actually break out their Alaska profits).
Suffice to say, ConocoPhillips is awash in profits from their Alaska operations. They've had a higher percentage of their U.S. profits (60.4%!!) under Palin's tax system (ACES) than at any other time since 2002. I haven't gone back further than that...yet.
The problem is the time it takes to dig through this stuff. The lies are easy. The truth takes a while to get its pants on.
Sorry, onyx, been gone this afternoon. This place has gone nuts! LOL.
You must have trouble with reading comprehension. I give up.
Then there are those that ignore it. Didn't like this post the first time?
Sarah Palin stated when she was in Iowa that she has never won a poll but she has won elections. She ignores polls. So do I. I always have. You can get a poll to show anything you want. Just ask questions the "right" way.
All of FR cheered when Bush declared he would not govern by polls. Suddenly polls and their false message have become very important to some. I suspect it's because the poll, honest or not, supports their point of view.
LOL. I am so happy you were out today!
Just you wait until tomorrow!
ALREADY credentialed 70 media representing 32 news organizations... in INDIANOLA, IOWA!!!!!
Palin's rivals can't buy that kind of NEWS MEDIA attention!!!!!
It is going to get a lot worse in here after Governor Palin’s speech tomorrow.
Thank goodness I’ll be busy!
Alaska has less than 500,000 registered voters. It’s a vast difference from a national election, you know like the one she lost.
When the polls are consistent it is wise to see if they are flukes, or if it’s just possible that there is something there to take a look at. Prior to the 2008 election, nobody really knew who she was. Afterward, there has been nothing but 24/7 Palin coverage good, bad and definitely ugly. The polls could very well be reflecting Palin fatigue.
SHE’S BIGGER THAN A ROCK STAR!
The one McCain lost. SHE didn't run for President or SHE'D have won. This time she ain't wearing a muzzle.
Ignoring a post isn’t the same thing as stifling debate. One is a choice the other is manipulation.
Don’t *concern* yourself with Palin. Vote for your career politcian and we’ll vote for our Tea Party conservative and see what happens. Robust primaries are the best for everyone involved: voters and candidates!
