A plurality (47%) of Likely U.S. Voters believe it is at least somewhat likely that Palin will enter the presidential race, but that includes only 13% who feel its Very Likely. A new Rasmussen Reports national telephone survey finds that 35% think a Palin bid is unlikely, but just five percent (5%) say its Not At All Likely. Eighteen percent (18%) are undecided. (To see survey question wording, click here.)
Only 18% of voters think it would be good for Republicans if Palin entered the race. Sixty percent (60%) say it would be bad for the party, while 11% predict it would have no impact. Twelve percent (12%) are not sure.
Even most Republicans (52%) believe it would be bad for the GOP if Palin threw her hat in the ring, a view shared by 74% of Democrats and 54% of voters not affiliated with either major party.

"But as in most questions about Palin, theres a noticeable partisan divide. A plurality (48%) of Republicans says she is qualified for the White House. Eighty-nine percent (89%) of Democrats and 55% of unaffiliated voters say she isnt."
"Thirty-nine percent (39%) of voters nationwide hold at least a somewhat favorable opinion of Palin, with 12% Very Favorable. Fifty-eight percent (58%) view her unfavorably, including 40% with a Very Unfavorable opinion."
Doesn't seem like she has move the needle much in the last year.
100% of me doesn’t give a rats @ss what the masses think...they elected the idiot in office now.
“a view shared by 74% of Democrats”
Why would I give a rat’s ass of what the Dumocraps think?
Lots of advice. I think I’ll still wait to see what the Gov’s plans really are. I really want to see her as Perry’s Secretary of Energy.
She’s failed to repair her reputation and image at all with the general public. Defeated.
“100% of me doesnt give a rats @ss what the masses think...they elected the idiot in office now”.
...ditto on that! Couldn’t have said it better.
Not qualified? Does that make a difference? Every Republican candidate and near-candidate is better qualified by far than the present occupant (and vice-occupant) of the Oval Office.
I’m not even a Palin supporter and I want her to run just because she would do serious damage to the two silken haired RINO “front runners”.
These are all leading/misleading push-poll questions that aren’t asked of any other candidates.
The GOP trying to push Palin out, because the race is otherwise down to two go-along/get-along RINOs—Romney and Perry.
You can smell the fear from the Perry Apologists.
Dang, who did I leave out?
I just posted the poll, I didn't put it together. But after Obambi, I think voters might be inclined to look a little closer at qualifications this time around - once burned, twice shy, as they say. I think that is the same hurdle Bachmann and Cain would have to overcome.
geez! Can we have one more poll on Palin. Call me crazy but poll after poll... Palin Bad. MSM putting out confusing and disorganized agenda on Palin and the tea party speech making her seem “Not qualified” for dog catcher. Pisses me off, regardless if she runs or not.
Rasmussen has been working hard to discourage Palin and her supporters.
More worthless poll nonsense.
What I can’t get over is the pathetic begging for her, an insignificant, polarizing has-been, whom everyone just knows isn’t going to run, to please, pretty please stay out of our nice safe race. Almost as if they think there are just too many of us out there who didn’t get the memo and might really mess things up if we don’t fall in line. Resistance is futile. Etc. LOL!
It has gotten to the point that one Palin supporter actually posted on Free Republic yesterday, "If Sarah does not get it (the Presidency) Obama can have it."
I seriously doubt that Sarah will run and, in the interests of GOP harmony, I believe that Sarah will withhold any endorsement, as George W. Bush is withholding any endorsement, in the primaries.
I hope, however, that Sarah makes it clear to her supporters that the goal is to defeat Marxist Obama and not to tear the GOP apart.
