DES MOINES, Iowa -- Though she won't be a candidate when she delivers a major address at a tea party rally in Iowa on Saturday, Sarah Palin will make it clear that she if enters the presidential race later this month she will vociferously challenge Texas Gov. Rick Perrys engrained image of solidarity with the tea party movement.
In her speech at the bucolic National Balloon Classic field in Indianola, Palin will lean on loaded phrases like crony capitalism and permanent political class in laying out her view of the U.S. political systems deep-rooted ills, according to a source close to Palin and familiar with the content of the speech.
Though she will not call Perry out by name, Palins carefully couched rhetoric will leave the impression that she may soon draw more overt attention to one of the Texans potential vulnerabilities as a candidate: his history of doling out plum positions and other benefits to generous campaign donors during his nearly 11-year tenure as the nations longest serving governor.

Obama is toast. The only question now is, will a real conservative/libertarian who understands and is willing to fight for free markets please stand up, or will RINOs snatch defeat from the jaws of victory.
Go Palin.

I hope she mentions Solyandra by name. GE too, as far as that goes. And that she gives specifics.

If Palin is not going to run then why has she been ripping Perry almost continuously since he announced?

Sarah Palin is proving to be a hustle. She creates great expectations and then lets down. This speech could be made by anyone at any time and people are driving long distances for THIS?
To: winoneforthegipper
I doubt very much Sarah told anyone the contents of her speech- where are they getting this?

I'm pretty sure, given his history, that moniker applies to Rick RINO Perry as well.
To: winoneforthegipper
It’s good to hear she is taking on the two leading CINOs in the race, Romney and Perry.

Darn. I will be on the road this Saturday and probably won't get to be a part of the live conversation. Go Sarah. Give them both barrels.

This discussion is silly. Palin is not a candidate. If she gets in, we'll see what she says and how she does but until then, talking about what she is “going to do” is a pure fantasy. Second, Palin isn't aiming at Perry or attacking him. Palin and Perry have a friendly personal relationship. As much as some people hate to hear it, they are fairly close ideologically—moderate conservatives. This reporter wrote an article to stir the pot. He succeeded.
