He’s not an illegal immigrant. Part of the reason why we don’t have a handle on our illegal alien problem is that we spend all the money fighting the War on Some Drugs. If we could divert that money to securing the borders, we would be able to crack down on illegal aliens more effectively.

What you liberals don’t understand is that because you are soft regarding the WOD, you are impotent in stemming the tide of illegals, many of which are mules from the Cartels bringing illegals, drugs, and millions of crimes into our cities and states.

You CANNOT fight the the battle for illegal immigration while waiving the white flag on the War on Drugs.

That's just one of the ironies of the WOsD! Border security is a big deal in the game plan and millions of dollars have been spent, under the auspices of the drug war, to strengthen the border. Those dollars have stopped neither illegals or drugs from crossing the border.
It's all window dressing and "feel good" (at least we're doing something even if it's ineffective) activity.
