Libyan rebels find humour is the sharpest weapon against Gaddafi (They've turned Gadaffi into a Jew)

In Zintan town square, reanointed "Tahrir Square" after it became the crucible for February's local uprising, humour is the weapon of choice against the Libyan government.

Street art depicts Muammar Gaddafi as a figure of ridicule. In the cartoons, his head variously has the body of a bat, chicken and snake, or is represented as a nail being yanked out by a hammer.

Mohammad, 22, who sports a Che Guevara beret and beard, is relishing freedom of expression that would have earned them jail or worse under Gaddafi.

And that includes images that will cause offence: some of the cartoons show Gaddafi wearing the Star of David. Mohammad claimed: "Israel and us don't get along. They kill Palestinian people. Gaddafi is killing Libyan people, so he and Israel are like brothers."

He's wearing a Che hat. Looks like the Guardian is verifying that which we've already known; so many of these protests have been organized by marxists, socialists, and progressives.

And the propaganda. Turning Gadaffi into a Jew, that's how they got so many people whipped up into joining the revolution against him.

If they’re not showing Khadaffy as a monkey, a pig, or a dog, they’re not giving him the full Israeli treatment after all.

Yeah. I was watching a Rebel victory on some news channel and the reporter talked to a imbecile driving in circles firing an AK in the air celebrating. The reporter interviewed him and he spewed mantra in American English without a pronounced accent. I placed it around central/western New York, Rochester/Buffalo.
