Kristinn, I respect the fact that your group has been out there faithfully at Walter Reed. You deserve a boatload of kudos for it.
Thank you.
My daughter worked with them and now is working at the new “Walter Reed National Military Medical Center Bethesda Maryland”
Thanks for all the time you and the others put in there - I always spent time with your writeups and liked the picts.
Thanks again for your time
Frankly, closing Walter Reed is a very dark day IMO.
It’s part of our legacy being destroyed. The older buildings could have been replaced, the facility kept open.
Ten years ago, in the wake of the September 11 terror attacks we vowed to defend our troops on the homefront and not allow the anti-American left to do to the troops what they did to them during and after Vietnam.
Your steadfast support at Walter Reed has been a crucial morale boost for countless wounded warriors, their families and Walter Reed staff.
BTTT!
Was that medical center always known as Walter Reed, or did they just change the name?
If it’s the planed replacement with the same name, I’m probably off base here.
Kristinn, I sure enjoyed the times I was in DC for the Friday night “freeps” at the entrance to the hospital. I wonder if the regulars will be at the new facilities...
Of course it all got started due to the pinkos being there with their horrible signs. I wonder whatever happened to Code Pink. Never hear much about them these days, probably because they are happy with obammy.
An era has passed. What you guys did there for the troops...
and I stood out there with you on a rainy night in September
three years ago and was totally impressed with your dedication
....is heroic.
I know you will be welcome wherever they are...all of you!
Thank you and all the WR FReepers for what they have done to
honor those troops who did so much for our country.
Thank you
Thanks. When this started, no one envisoned the chapter would end up doing it every Friday for six years. But we had experience, having spent every Saturday for 28 months outside the Clinton White House :-)

Yes, six years... that’s devotion to duty and the souls inside.
I’ll bet the Pink Stinkers didn’t expect you to be there for six years either.
I showed up once at the White House with you. Does that count? LOL (not really, you guys are in a class by yourselves on that)
Take care.
Thank you! God bless you.
Many thanks and may God bless you all .
They’re still around. They’ve changed their focus to helping the terrorists try to destroy Israel. As for Obama, they play the inside/outside game with him.
Great job DC Chapter!
God bless our troops!
Thank you. May God Bless you, all those who weathered all weather and the Wounded Warriors you were supporting.
Damn fine job.
