What specifically about the article and/or Perry do you think national voters should know? That he believes it's a local issue and not something the feral government should stick its nose in?

The federal govt's responsibility is to protect us from enemies, both foreign and domestic. The federal govt had no problem sticking it's nose in after 911, pumping in federal taxpayer money.

The federal govt has no problem grabbing lands from states for whatever purpose it deems necessary. This area of NYC should be a national monument dedicated to the innocent lives lost at the hands of muslim murderers.

There is no way the muslim brothers of these murderers should be allowed to build a monument of their own, just to gloat over these hallowed grounds. Just so they can have a front row seat to show their visiting brothers how glorious was the success of their murdering muslim brothers.

Perry either doesn't get it, or he is one of their lap dogs. Either way, he has effectively demonstrated just how truly weak-need he truly is when it comes to defending us against murdering muslims. It is apparent he would rather pander to them, than protect and defend us, and the innocent lives lost on these hallowed grounds.
