Perry ping.

“they increasingly worry that Perry has the best chance to defeat their handpicked socialist messiah now occupying the Oval Office.”

“For all the talk of Perry being an establishment guy, the establishment hates his guts as much as the left does . . .”

We have seen that Sarah can stand against an all out vicious and unprincipled assault from the forces of Evil. We will see if Rick can. He better have all his skeletons out of the closet because the dumpster divers are about to descend on him.

“The presidential race is heating up. We now have conservatives Bachmann and Cain officially in the race fending off RINO Romney; and Palin and Perry could possibly jump in. My hopes are with Palin, but if she decides not to run I could be happy with Bachmann or Cain. Also, if Palin does not run but Perry does, he’d probably suck all the air out of the race. Either way, Palin, Bachmann, Cain or even Perry would all be excellent alternatives to Obama the commie. Anyone but RINO Romney the big government chief architect of CommieCare!”

Preemptive point:

Conservative=Someone who agrees with me and “my candidate” 100%

RINO=Anyone who does NOT agree with me 100% and/or does not endorse “my candidate”

Liberal moran troll=”Anyone who CRITICIZES “my candidate”

Keep these definitions in mind as this thread unfolds...

They have been going at him for 11 years and so far zilch. It is not likely they will find any significant skeleton, at least not a campaign endng one.

They are flat-out petrified of Perry

They are even more scared of Sarah.

for everyone ... I don’t believe any smear regarding a candidate that I don’t research and verify to my satisfaction for 6-8 weeks.

I asked around, seems that there are people doing the same ... either consciously or unconsciously .... we block out the blather.

That is what I am counting on. I figure the RAT papers in Texas are as slimy and LIE-based as those anywhere else. Plus, as an ex-democrat they gotta hate him even more than an ordinary Republican.

I think it’s good that the left is going nuclear so soon. For after all their bile is spewed, there won’t be anything left for the rest of the race.

Plus, an early torrent of hate from the left will desensitize the American electorate to any new attacks. Sort of a... “oh, look, there boy’s crying wolf, again” phenomenon.

Fortunately for all who still cherish traditional values, the voters are wise to these self-serving attacks on Perry. Most are now willing and anxious to hear the Texas governor out.

The rest is up to him.

Worth repeating. At this point in time at least, it is his to lose. What would make a better ticket? Perry/Palin or Palin/Perry??? Would Sarah be interested in the number 2 spot again?

Check out this article by the LA Times:

The problem with Perry

http://www.latimes.com/news/opinion/opinionla/la-ed-0828-perry-20110828,0,2977803.story

“Perry is more rigidly conservative than Bush, more resistant to compromise and more anti-establishment. In his book, he positions himself as a model “tea party” Republican, and he rails against the scourges that most irk movement conservatives: federal incursion into states’ rights, a government that seems only to expand and never to shrink, and an activist Supreme Court that sets policy rather than interprets the Constitution.

Perry is on an almost messianic quest to repeal the healthcare reform law, which he says is “the closest this country has ever come to outright socialism.”

She might go for veep again, especially with Perry at the top because she knows he will, unlike McCain, fight bambi tooth and nail and allow her too also, plus, she will be in a perfect position in 2020 to run for prez. I doubt Perry would accept the veep spot, but who knows. The two combined would be unstoppable, but there is a downside i.e. all the exploded liberals gooing up the streets would be an enormous disgusting mess to clean up.

I don’t want Perry near the White House unless it is as a member of President Palin’s secret service team. He should take his place along with the rest of em.

Here is some encouraging news:

Rick Perry’s Secret Weapon

http://www.thedailybeast.com/articles/2011/08/28/rick-perry-s-secret-weapon-in-the-2012-presidential-race.html

“Among Perry’s key assets is a loyal, long-serving campaign team widely admired, and even feared, across the Lone Star State. Led by veteran New Hampshire operative Dave Carney, Team Perry is shrewd, flexible, ruthless, and - ironically, considering the gov’s fire-aim-ready rep - obsessed with hard data and the science of campaigning.

Notes the loyalist, “This is a team that knows what Perry wants and knows how to get him where he wants to be.”

And this is key to winning.
