Anyone with 1/2 a brain could tell Katrina was going to be bad and if I were living in a city below sea level protected only by unpredictable levees of course I’d get the heck out.

But anyone with 1/2 a brain could also tell that Irene was going to turn out to be a wet dud.

No one is going to stink up a thread on hype by pointing out that the whole thing was....hype.

dirt-dude, I slept with my life vest on, so chances of drownin' were pretty remote! And I live at the base of Ragged Mountain, so no hurricane coming through this part of Connecticut, bucko!
