FlaDame, I thought this was the live thread. Especially with me reporting live with photos from Central Conn.

they are saying on the TV that the back end of this storm is gonna come in and spank us. So I am huddled inside, hoping I don't lose internet access.

Don't rain on NN's thread. She will cry, throw a fit and tell the mods to make you stop. Best to just stay away and let her have her fake catastrophic storm parade. Pathetic. Sorry to say she is from my state, most of us don't want hurricanes and we don't exaggerate and make little tropical storms into Katrina's. My sister lives in MD, 2 nieces in NJ that live about 2 miles from the coast. Nada, they slept through it. A couple of weeks ago they had a lot of rain and some water in the basement, with Irene, none, that tells me all I need to know.
